I had to appear for Cook Co. IL traffic court in August for a minor traffic speeding ticket. Cop wrote it for ten over though i was actually at 21+. And the cop was super nice and pretty much said don't pay it, appear, and they'll drop it. Then when the ticket came it was a mandate appear, bc cook co is doing this thing where you can't just pay the speeding or traffic violation tickets. And then the cop texted me to tell me how to do it by ZOOM so i did. And the judge was hilarious and awesome. He started by saying how the court fees usedto be $30 plus whatever fee or fine but now they are $345 and he refuses to make the people pay it since its to "buy the new flat screens the County is putting up in the court house rooms". And there were probably 250people sitting in the court room and 10 of us on ZOOM. AND the judge just Rolled through, asking things like "so, you won't be texting and driving anymore right?!, okay dismissed". And I was nervous at first until I realized anyone that was speeding ten mph or under got dismissed. Finally he did those of us on ZOOM and it took 2min for him to say i was dismissed bc i had NO OTHER TICKETS and no points. His character and personality is perfect for KZbin. I wish they would post his court room
