When JJ told Hotch about her sister committing suicide in Season 5's "Risky Business," I didn't think she could look any sadder than she did then but her talking about it to Prentiss now in Season 14's "The Tall Man," I was proven wrong! Spence and Penelope look at JJ for strength courage and hope during hard times but if they saw her like this either one of them would have let her cry on their shoulder just like she had let both of them cry on her shoulder.

A family member of mine committed suicide a few years ago. It was extremely hard, and still is, grasping and thinking about why somebody would take their own life. It was devastating and the hardest thing to go through. I havnt even got up to here in criminal minds but watching this vid made me cry sm.

My father slit his wrists in front of me when I was eight years old. He tired killing himself three more times, one of them was driving into on coming traffic. With me, ( 9 yes) yanking the wheel out of his hand. I will never forget it when he looked me and said. “Just let it go” 😭 I never lost anyone to suicide, but my father definitely came close.

@@h.cbailey3903 Suicide is the thing that let people hurt who are still alive and take away a pain from a person who does it I was thinking about ending my life, and whenever I read something like this, I freeze out, Ik some people will say like don't feel sad, it was their choice ,it was selfish, only cowards do that, bit that's not entirely always true...some people fight with their own demons and they feel like everything is too much We can't change the past, we can't save people who don't want to be saved,its not our job to fix other people U need to worry about urself, about positive stuff in ur life

ION television came out with Season 14's episodes nearly six months ago! Until tonight though, "The Tall Man" was the only episode left out! I don't know why! This was an epiphany to JJ losing her sister all those years ago!
