While I also love the bits I see everyone else pointing out, I gotta say that transition where Reid is recalling Prentiss saying “Lauren Reynolds is dead” is just really cool. You see his lips move like he’s saying it and then we hear Prentiss’ voice twice like he’s searching a recording- which, considering his eidetic memory. is basically exactly what he was doing.

around season 6-7, CBS fired both her and Paget and so both storylines got weird. Cook got two more episodes to wrap up her story and Paget's character was "killed" off. That's when they got Rachel Nichols but then she was dropped for season 8. So just behind the scenes issues that roiled the continuity of things.
