@@Theories16 yes it is possible! The show myth busters showed that a gun can still be used under water. Not all guns, but most of them. This episode along with some other shows and movies was mentioned in the episode where they attempted to recreate scenes and stunts.

Correct if it’s a high enough caliber per say a .45 mm which is a very standard issued law enforcement weapon it will not only penetrate the water but the glass and target as well. A .45 wil take down a grizzly bear easy.

The Mythbusters did a bullets fired under water myth in season 4 and they used a 9mm. I think that is what Hotch is using. But I'm not sure if theirs was a glock or not. They did say that you had to make sure that all the air was out of the gun and only deadly at 3ft. But that you wouldn't be able to fire it again because it didn't eject the cartridge. Not saying they are the have all and be all. But either way this scene is still cool. Love Hotch.
