Who else is watching this scene in 2023 because I am and I just realize how sad that girls life was. She didn’t want to hurt her victims. She just wanted them to be her friends like the dolls. It’s so sad.

I felt so so sorry for this woman. She was so very unwell. I hope she did get to keep her dolls wherever she ended up.

I like to think that she got to keep her dolls, or she was given replicas.
@thesilentangel829910 ай бұрын
@@deborahwood7089The dolls are harmless as far as I can see, so I think that she will be able to keep them. It’s not like she’s going to tear them up and turn them into a weapon or hide something malicious in there. I think it’s not in her nature given how much she loves them. She just wanted her dolls back and she got that.
The actress did such a. Great job. The fear of her dolls being taken away makes my heart break.

Did anyone else hear the air quotes when he said “Helped” when talking about the first girl

I definitely did hear the air quotes. I also heard "I'm about to F YOU UP for what you did to these little girls. "

You see how happy when she sees the case of dolls. You can see that she is still a child inside. And it shows when she reacts to the dolls and how childlike she acts. And Reid is reading that man for Filth.

There’s so much I love about this episode and especially these scenes. Of course, how Reid was so badass. But did you also see how Rossi was closely watching the exchange, how he instantly caught on and joined in. The utter elation on Samantha’s face when she was about to see her friends when she thought they were gone forever. The bittersweet ending. And even that officer who was about to handcuff Samantha… maybe I’m reading too much into it but I think when Reid stopped him and he saw how he interacted with Samantha… his expression seemed to change into something thoughtful, with a realization that even the criminals who have done something horrific might not be bad people.

The end of the episode it broke my heart the tone that Reid used with Samantha, the unsub, because she was as much of victim as the girls that she abducted, she never meant for them to die she just wanted to be happy again, and this made her happy. I’m not justifying what she did I’m really saying that she was also a victim

The judicial conundrum from this case would be enormous; can you hold someone responsible for something they do that is a verifiable result of a sustained and intense mental and/or physical trauma?
@LaineMann4 жыл бұрын
The answer SHOULD be no. But unfortunately our legal system is fucked.
@halassardelli62553 жыл бұрын
i know this is late but she would most likely plead not guilty by cause of insanity. she would be in a mental health hospital for the rest of her life but she would be a legally free woman. however that also is based on what deals her lawyer would make. she could get guilty of manslaughter or even murder and spend some time in an actual prison. but the jury and judge would take mercy on her if her lawyer tells her story.

Some of the episodes are absolutely amazing. They touch the human heart in way that few shows do. They also bring out the need to protect those who can't protect themselves.

Why do I have a feeling that this would be similar if any other BAU agent was there that knew Reid? Also! The fact that there are plenty of people on the BAU who have kids or (in Derek's case)Have been sexually assaulted by someone makes Reid's Rage so much more understandable...
