Fun fact: Reid hurts his leg in this episode because the actor hurt his leg, and they needed an excuse for him to be less physically active for a decent chunk of episodes

@Insane Layne If I remember correctly he went partying with Joseph Gordon Levitt after filming 500 days of summer and hurt his leg dancing 😅

Yeah Matthew injured himself while out with the 500 Days of Summer castmates. They were filming the night for the dvd extra features so there's footage of them in the ER incredibly drunk. Shemar Moore actually had a broken leg at the same time but was given a walking boot so didn't need crutches so it wasn't written in to the show.

Matthew, the actor who plays Spencer, actually busted his knee while dancing 💀 he had to have 3 surgeries and needed a cane for about a year. So they had to work around matthews injury in this season, which is why he isn’t standing at all in this episode, and the one time he was standing they had someone off screen covered by the door way holding him up.

@@Harri_James it would be significantly harder to write morgan in a position where he couldn't walk. To much of his character is physical feats. Must have been difficult to shot with a boot though

Unfortunately, what makes Foyet such a threat is that he isn't stupid. Great reaction!

You’re getting closer and closer to a monumental episode not because of what might or might not happen but because it’s the 100th episode and in any show that makes it that far it’s a big deal

This episode really sets things up nicely. It takes the cliffhanger from the end of season 4, and just creates the perfect foundation for the rest of season 5.

I was literally hooping and hollering when I came to check for this upload, and clearly found it. SO excited for Season 5. While this story was good, I believe the ones still to come are just...flawless. Not spoiling anything, but I think my favorite episode of season 5 is "The Uncanny Valley" At the end, I was definitely feeling more sympathy and pain for the unsub, rather than rage. ❤

I was waiting for you to say that everybody is like family I didn’t want to say it until you did to not spoil you but yes you can see how they become family. Like I said having these background stories they shown of each person you also get attached to the characters. Foyet is on of those smart killers that you’re like what going to happen just by the episodes they’ve shown.

Im a teacher and here only schools that have 7th grade and above have metal detectors. I teach K-6 so we don't have them. Even though there was a news story about a 6 year old who stabbed a teacher. But stuff like that costs money. And politicians love cutting funding for schools.

all the schools in my town are locked. they have video at the front door so they can see you and let you in to go to the office and sign in. but they have to either know you or you have to have a legit reason and either way youre going to the office right by the only door they unlock. theyve gotten pretty serious about safety. i dont know how universal that is. i assume that the team meant that they didnt want anyone let into the building who normally would be, like parents or osmeone saying they are picking someone up or delivering something. things were more lax when this was filmed but at minimum you had to check into the office if you entered a school. im sure people snuck past the office though if the doors werent locked.

This is so mindblowing to me. Not even 3 weeks ago I walked into my old highschool just to check if it still had that feel, wondering what memories would flood in etc. I was in the neighbourhood. Sure I was on camera, but I wasn't buzzed in, no sign in required, no questions asked. Hell, when on the 2nd floor I saw my old teacher and I approached them to say thanks for all they did back then. I know to some this sounds terrifyingly lax, but what you wrote sounds scarily oppressive, guess it's just a cultural difference. The hoops you have to jump through to get a gun that gets to leave the range with you are so strenuous people would rather stab I suppose.

@@bararobberbaron859 i mean, theres been so many school shootings at this point, its a constant problem. so far just in 2023 there have been 22 school shootings. they are so common that there are websites specifically to track just school shootings. i dont think that keeping random people away from our children is oppressive. i dont want random weirdos roaming the halls of the place that i send my child to for several hours a day.

I'd probably just round it and say 20 per murder you could likely get him on a few other charges I wouldn't say terrorism but he has an attempted murder from the father so there's another ten to twelve years they could likely get him for Reid being shot not sure what you'd call that but that's probably some charge you could make stick in the two to five range though I wouldn't bother;.

I never liked Haley, she always blamed Hotch for everything, when Hotch left the BAU for her at the beginning of season 3, she was cheating on him, but somehow everything is his fault, and somehow he takes the blame easily... Great episode
@Tiepo01
@Tiepo01 Жыл бұрын
1) Implied cheating. Nothing was confirmed 2) As what hotch says, she practically raised Jack by herself. 3) He was a paralegal when they were involved. She wouldnt know he would join the BAU. I think Haley was justified in her actions (assuming she didnt cheat on hotch)

She didn't sign up for this, I think that's the problem. He chooses his dangerous job over his family over and over. If she had known that that was going to be the case when they got married, that'd be different. I definitely understand where she's coming from.
