Yes Sir, so many cases are lagging behind that the innocent ones before acquitted already suffered as if they were already convicted. So sad about this, very depressing to the accus d about his family. We can not unwind time lost that is lost forever

@@truebeliever8322 Procedures help hasten the judicial process. The Counter-Affidavit's Objective is to hear the supposed Accused's side to establish Probable Cause so that the Prosecutor can favor your Complaint thru his Resolution, reviewed by his Chief Prosecutor, together with the Information for submission to the Court for the judicial determination of Probable Cause, to issue a Warrant of Arrest then Arraignment. So, when the Prosecutor proceeds to immediate Hearing, he has somehow made the procedure even shorter either to dismiss the Case or proceed to prosecution. In either the presence of the Accused Counter-Affidavit or not, the Prosecutor would still make the Accused side be taken and made part of his Resolution. So, there is a lot of latitude on Procedural Law whose Objective is to accelerate the judicial process. Judges and Prosecutors would have a more liberal choice provided DUE PROCESS of LAW is not compromised.
