Hearing crim talk about not winning for his first 8 years while earning zilch, studying and navigating life tells you all you need to know about the guy. The fact that he was the most accpmplished player on every team in the recent era and was always looked at as the asshole is exactly why hes comfotable in his own skin. Always been my favourite pro from a personality standpoint. 0 bullshit about winning. Drama contorted his thoughts for a while and now hes at peace. Hope he stays winning.

I feel Crim on the fact that it’s difficult to take advice from someone who can’t beat you. I have been at my job for 6 years and know the machines like the back of my hand I was so good at my job they promoted me to supervisor then eventually I was promoted to an office position outside of the shop. The office position wasn’t enough work for me so they sent me back to the shop and they have a guy who knows absolutely nothing about the machines trying to tell me how to run them. It’s difficult but I listen to what he says and if it doesn’t work then he looks like an idiot and I just smile.

you know as someone who has watched the narrative around Porter change a lot over the years, seeing his side & getting perspective from him. It really does seem like he is sort of misunderstood when comes to his competitive drive, and champion pedigree. It paints him as someone who selfish, but the reality is he does know what it takes to win. On the flipside he may not do the best job of expressing himself in a manner that caters to each of his teammates. The last podcast eps with Clay really highlighted that, Crim wants to win badly and sometimes in life the old ways work best but that doesn't always mean that those methods work best for every individual. I think if Crim would have learned to be a little more thoughtful and more adaptable he wouldn't have but heads with many ppl, but thats also maybe why he was so successful. Love him or hate him he is a champion and he deserves his flowers. I hope to see him find a home with OpTic, despite everything and the beef. It doesn't feel right to see some older OpTic members like Pam join in and we still missing big Crim? it seems even he feels awkward about joining and he says weird things like regretting joining but i don't think he means that. I think he regrets how things played out and its sour now, tough to go back but def would be great for both him and OpTic. I promise u them vlogs would slap if had Optic Crim in his youtube channel.

Imma keep it a buck, as someone who’s been a fan of OpTic since 2014 I’ve only ever had love for Crim, I respected him as a player on Complexity, I loved him when he was on OpTic and it was a mix of both when he departed for Empire, I think the true OG fans got nothing but love for Porter, the real issue is he lets the casual side of the GreenWall get under his skin and when he says out of pocket shit he groups all the GreenWall together and but that’s just not the case, every OG member of the GreenWall has been hoping that Crim would make his way back to OpTic it just hasn’t happened yet and honestly if he keeps feeling the way he does probably never will. Every true CoD fan knows Crim is the GOAT there’s no denying that, I just wish he didn’t let the casual shitters get under his skin, I think if that wasn’t the case he would be in a much better place right now..

Crim regretting joining optic because he doesn't have the fan support he once did is delusional. The dude lost fan support not because he got dropped/left, but because of how he carries himself, and how many people he rubs the wrong way. That's on him, not the fans. Accountability.

I'm only 36 minutes in, but I gotta disagree with Crim here. OpTic didn't take the gas out of his content, he could've leveraged the dynasty years to keep growing it. Like he said, all that time playing CS:GO, he could've been playing CoD...also, he could've been working on his content. Even now, we'd all watch Crim stream ranked play or do CDL based talking head videos, tier lists, etc. I think he lost patience and panicked after retirement because he wasn't making his 350-500k a year. I personally stopped watching his streams shortly after retirement when it became constant therapy sessions and discussing "what if" scenarios. Homeboy is the greatest CoD player of all time.....leverage that and make CoD content bro. Doesn't even have to be of him playing, just being a voice in the scene. People still will watch Crim content, including myself. Hence why I jumped on this Podcast. I personally love his Burning Bridges pod as well. @Crimsix you still have MASSIVE support in this scene my guy. Don't let the league politics that broke you sway you from that.

I think Ian is kind of out of it when he says everyone left him. He left everyone just as much as they left him. Yes he got dropped but he joined OpTic which was always Scumps team after Nade retired so he should of known after WW2 if a change was happening between him and Scump he was going to be gone. If Ian played WZ streamed it and actually kept a legit schedule played in throwback tournaments and made peace with some people. He would have 10,000 twitch subs in a few months. Easy. He left COD. COD fans and Optic fans would support Ian who is the Goat. Not by that much though there is a debate. He knows that. Scumps stats were better. Played a harder role the consecutive tournaments over 1.0 68 whatever it is will never be touched just like Ian’s win total. I’ll give it to Ian though he’s the GOAT! Scump #2 no debate on the top 2 that’s for sure. Crim come back to COD! We will support the GOAT just come back with MW3 stream the launch play in some tournies then play some WZ for the career you’ll be right back on top. TeePee Apathy Slacked these doods don’t have the brand you got but they put in the time on stream playing COD or WZ and have thousands of subs for it.

I have love for Crim as an OpTic fan and a fan of all our guys over the years. But he does come off ungrateful at times about OpTic and I can see why it rubs people the wrong way. He says he doesn’t care anymore but I still sense a chip on his shoulder about a lot of it. Also on the GOAT debate, I do regard him as number 1 all time. But I think he’s a little disrespectful to Seth to say it’s only the XGames medals he beats him on. Scump also played a more difficult role his entire career. He was also way more consistent than Crim, and played at a higher level for longer than Crim. The latter stages of their careers Scump was much the better player. I think most people would also agree Scump is the more naturally talented cod player. Scump also didn’t always have one of the best teams, particularly earlier in his career. Crim was on two dynasties, and the Dallas team which was stacked with some of the best talent. Only time he wasn’t on one of the best teams was NYSL at the end of his career and it didn’t go too well 🤷‍♂️.

I love crim but I don't know anyone who is making the argument of scump over crim and all they are saying is the gold medal, the arguments are way different than that. We still love crim but the debate is more than just accolades and that's just it its a debate its not that we are trying to bring anyone down or anything like that.

Crim is 100% the goat of COD it isnt debatable but i think people just think scump was better and thats why they put him above him

i mean crim is a goat no doubt but scmup more consitent and crim had 2 easier teams to win 2 champs with, young slayers who were hungry playing against oldies. but kda relevance and what he did for cod was more than crim could even fathom. i think hes coping

Rambo was a much smarter player than Crim, that is undisputable. Crim just had the FAR better gunskill as well as being a smart player. Crim also teamed with GOATs so

Never have understood this mans logic “I know I’m talking/treating you like shit as a teammate, but it’s okay because you can do the same to me if you want” guy is immature af and won’t ever take full accountability.

Couldnt listen to coaches because he didn't view them as equals. Was salty he wasn't celebrated (thats what happens when u treat ppl like crap), biggest regret being OpTic is ridiculous when his channel tripled in subs by joining them let alone his twitch views/subs. Had he been a good person all of these would've been avoided.

I love crim but there are more factors that go into him not getting the views he's after with car content. I love it but those are 2 completely different audiences and age groups. He will get to the views he wants if he keeps grinding.

Crim just seems bitter. He blames OpTic for his lack of success in content? OpTic gets people eyes and it’s on you to build. OpTic has the 2 biggest creators to come out of cod in Scump and Nade. Shotzzy is building his brand to biggest in CDL. Crim blames everyone but himself. He thinks it’s undebatable he’s the GOAT but chips aren’t the only thing. Bill Russell would be the goat of NBA if that was true. Notice how people like Octane, Scump, Karma still talk to and get along with almost everyone in COD. They didn’t burn everyone on their way. He wants to be loved but continually spits in the faces of people. He wants to be revered by the fans but he shits on anyone who doesn’t agree with him or is overly sarcastic and rude. I wish he would have turned out nicer and happier because he is funny and could be a huge personality.

Coulda been a warzone creator either way… you CHOSE to do sim racing instead. TeePee did it.. you just didn’t play and stream it as much because you were competing…

I watch crims videos but the truth is I just wanna watch him talk about call of duty or play it. Talk about teams, talk shit about teams and players but in KZbin format. I don’t like livestreams. If he came on YT and said “yo it’s C6 greatest of all fuc*ing time and the NY subliners roster F***ing sucks di** and the new Faze roster is fuc*ing epic here’s why” I wanna hear the man preach on 1.5x speed. Spit facts, similar to Aches… but it’s crim and we’ll he’s the best so it matters 😅😮 But truth I don’t care about racing, don’t even play racing games

Let me just debunk Crim's whole "the fans weren't there for me they were only there for OpTic and Scump" theory right now. Look at Clayster. Clay was on Optic in Ghosts and was a very popular player in the scene before he joined Optic. When he was kicked from Optic and replaced with Formal, did the fans all leave and turn on him? No. They still literally chant his name everytime he plays a LAN match. Why? Because everytime that man was dropped or faced adversity in the COD scene, he took a step back and worked on himself as a person rather than trying to bring everyone he thought wronged him down with him. Crim, the reason nobody watches your videos is because without COD your just Ian Porter, and that guy kind of sucks.
