Crimson Desert Three New Boss Gameplays Revealed!

I loved _all_ the bosses but by far, the Reed Devil 🌾👹was my favourite, and it gives me hope the lore or character depth will be well done! I mean, I did not expect a boss get my attention in a way a side-character or a main would. I mean, he technically gave us like three or four hint about how he despise himself, his appearance and existence, how he values himself in no way, he said his trauma caused by his father that still haunts him to this day ( _just imagine you having to fight for your survival against your own "father" because he find you ugly, and calls you in such a horrible name just 'cause of that? - besides, he despises you cause of your origin like if you'd have a saying in whether you want to be born as a "bastard" or no?_ ) and his mother likely has been murdered by the father or his men as well, since he knows she is dead, and nobles rarely let slipping if they have a bastard child. His line also caught me, when he said " _and look to your own health as well: ". It may be sarcastic, but it does not sound like that, to me. And it was Kliff who attacked first, so obviously he chose to face him. We don't know if by terrorising locals mean murdering them too or just, being a scary phenomenon around the fields. Anyhow... I'm glad Kliff did not kill him, I want to see more of this. *Side note* : Reed Devil appeared in a shared image with Kliff and a couple of possible companions / playable characters. I WANT HIM TO BE PLAYABLE or at least a companion. I love his awk. ninja stile, lol.🔥

If they update the engine for BDO it'd get such an insane boost, very excited to see what PA has created on a modern engine.

Knowing BDO, the only thing I'm sceptical of here is the lore and how the story goes... Everything else looks amazing!

Felt like BDO actually got all the good material there. It's just their execution that was lacking. Though i saw some potential in some story content in BDO where they actually put effort in. Hopefully they can really shine in this game. If they can't do that, i hope they have the approach of making the game into "sandbox"-ish with high replayability like Dragon's Dogma dark arisen (haven't played the 2nd one). Because that game was a FREAKIN blast without having a mindblowing story.

BDO has good lore and even decent story telling, what it doesn't have is a player base capable of doing anything beside running in a circle for 12 hours.

It would be amazing if they update the engine from bdo to this. Doubt, it will be the same ofc, but i mean, we all thought about it. 😂 imagine we get BDO2 after this, and they fix all the things wrong with the recent changes in BDO.

A LOT of fixes needed, but I would like them to switch directors in BDO first. Focus on feedback and get the game to a better place before unveiling an engine upgrade. I hope it happens.

@AndersGallar we gave and still have so much feedback it's ridiculous that they haven't done anything massive yet, specially in PvP. They shoul have an honest stream and talk with creators to help them imo first.

@AndersGallar let's hope that with CD development almost finished, we get the BDO team some upgrades needed for those changes to happen. I'm a PvX player. Both PvP and PvE endgame lack so much content, not in goals but in fun while doing it. On another note, what are your thoughts on the actual state of BDO ?

They ALWAYS do this haha I hate it, but ingame you can turn it off (if they work similar to BDO). It is supposed to give a feeling of impact, but I feel it takes away from the combat personally.

Their own game is going to hurt their own game so bad. Neglecting BDO for CD isn't going to sit well with a lot of players. Hopefuly CD is good enough to distract people away from BDO's flaws until PA can \ will address BDO's lack of meaningful content, etc.
