Also collectors/investors I believe have forgotten that S&V is based on the next generation of kids and the TCG not to make money. My son is 8 years old and is loving all of the sets and doesn’t care how much the pulls are worth just the art work and the Pokémon which is what we all did when we opened packs years ago as kids. Share the love people and embrace the bond between the OG collector kids and the new gen kids it’s beautiful

Agreed. My daughter who is 13 and does understands value will gently ask my son who is 7 about to be 8, for a valuable card he pulls (just in case to help him sleeve and whatnot); but otherwise she could care less about the monetary value, only the art and to a lesser extent, stats. Understandably (such as myself), simply doesn’t want to purchase a replacement card in the event said valuable card gets damaged unknowingly, haha. Edit: Agreed about modern card artwork being phenomenal as well. The new generations are very spoiled, that’s for sure. I will always love my generation (1), but no one can argue that its artwork pales in comparison to what we are getting now since around XY, but mostly SWSH/SV particularly, lol.

Yeah I agree, I keep seeing people say that Pokemon needs to make better S&V sets, I just don't understand how they can say that. Take the full art trainers cards. Since XY when they first came out they largely consisted of the trainer and random colourful graphics in the background. In SW&S they started incorporating the character in their environment a little, (Leon with stadium lights, Poke Kid in a field, Roxanne with a chalk board) now Crown Zenith and into S&V there is a full on story which relates to the character (Melony cooking in a kitchen, Penny studying in school, Geisha looking out a snowy window, Rika walking down a street) etc. The art in the most recent sets has been the best in the history of Pokemon! To say that Pokemon isn't trying just shows your bias that unless it's the original 151 it isn't worth collecting. People are really missing the boat by saying this.
