When I got my Mandalay it looked so unusual for ED that I went for an unusual (for me) loadout and tried mines, as I'd never used them before. It all started with trying to bomb a settlement, but it just works so nice that it immediately became my main Mandalay loadout. At first I paired 4 mine launchers with Frag Cannons, then with Concords, then PAs. So good that I don't want to use anything else but mines for any combat. And here is a video with so much useful info. The best timing, very good video :))) Learned somethings today. Thank you!

Great vid! (except maybe for the sound test at the start😅) Always thought of doing a tutorial but never got to it. Good brief on how to get started. To anyone wanting to start: Don't give up early! A lot of predictive flying has to be re-learned as you are no longer fighting to give yourself optimal aim that all the other weapons require. That takes time to do past the simple jousting. Hope you do another vid on the more reactive flying that happens when your opponent is acutely aware. Was always a struggle of mine to be consistent in those cases trying to gauge my opponents vector and intercept it with the correct boost timing. Estimating by thruster trails and secondary weapons target lead, all that jazz!

Great video! Some feedback: I found it hard to understand you at times due to the music being loud / voice being muted. I guess that the radio effect is also part of the reason :D

Love mines. Best suprise weapon one can have for organic. I would love to see them more with da pros like you and in arranged pvp, but somehow i doubt a skilled enemy will be hit enough before he melts yo face.

Most of my recent videos were in organized (i.e. arranged) PvP, namely Wyrd Wednesdays. They are quite useful against the average meta FDL.

Nice video! How do you keep the view in your cockpit far from the instruments like that? To do it, I have to press a button on my keyboard, but to keep the view enlarged, I have to keep that button pressed.

There's a setting called "FoV" (Field of View). I set it to maximum. If that's still not enough there is a .ini file where you can overwrite it beyond the maximum (which is 90° iirc).
