Haha glad you changed your mind about Ecrin de Fumee, because I went through the exact same thing. When I first smelled it, I thought okay, it’s good, but nothing mindblowing. But as it kept drying down, I could not stop smelling my arm and shirt. I still do not love the opening, but the dry down is very “thick” chocolaty vanilla without being cloying at all.

Hmm, I guess I'll have to try Ecrin de Fumee now. I was put off when I saw it had a tobacco note, I'm really not into tobacco perfumes. But I LOVE vanilla, and love Un Bois Vanille, so maybe I should give it a chance :D
