I visited E-earfone yesterday because of this video....the place is amazing. I wanted to replace my very old Shure SE425s so being able to test all those IEMs was very cool as I felt confident to buy after many many "listens". I wanted to share 3 points so others can also enjoy this store.... 1. One of the staff spoke great English so you don't need a translator like Hanrio 2. You can ask to borrow a usbc/lightning to 3.5mm cable from the payment counter (3rd floor) so you can stay hours to listen to IEMs, and 3. They can do tax free so bring your passport and enjoy 10%off!!!! (I walked away with a Seinnie IE600 and BTR5). Brilliant shop!

I spent 4 hours in the store in Tokyo and a further two hours in the store in Osaka. I tried so many affordable and endgame Headphones, IEM's and amplifiers I would have never gotten the chance to try in real life. Literally a theme park for your ears. Can't recommend this store enough (and not to mention the prices aren't bad compared to Australia's)!

I ended up on this video while trying to find earphones stores in the USA like they have in Japan. I love your coverage and will definitely subscribe! When I lived in Japan I would go into these specialty stores in Tokyo that would make headphone cables for earbuds in store; they would also clean and repair headphones or earbuds. Now I'm looking for something similar in the USA and don't even know how to narrow in on a search term. If you know of shops that are similar, please share. Meanwhile - keep up the awesome coverage.

I bought some Arias from your recommendation of value the other day. It blew my mind. The quality of the materials and the fit being so clean, on top of the passive noise cancelling and perfect sound for my taste, all for the price - you are an audio prometheus. I cannot recommend them enough.

Can you please make a video over the LG Tone T90Q? I am curious what you feel about them and there is a lot to talk about them. Also a way to correct the heavy bass sound signature to sound more like the Galaxy buds pro 2. I have them and I am having a hard time getting them at the Harman Curve without them sounding off.

I made huuuge mistake entering E-earphone and going straight to the UM / Fitear section on my first day in Tokyo (2015 back then it's on their first floor IIRC) and demo the flagship. got nervous I might blow away my fund and run away LOL. Greetings from NYC. Audio retail was dying here even before C-V. If I want any upgrades, I order online. The few shops in existence are boutiques for the rich and by appointment. I estimate they are in general a few hundred sq. ft size (because i have not gone in, only looking online). I am happy at least we have two significant camera stores. They have more pro audio for production, than home/ audiophile gear.

I've tried it. It doesn't sound like a stock xm4/xm5 tuning at all but anc without wind is on par. It feels a little cheap but it's a nice v shape sound signature. Not as bass heavy as stock xm4 but after eq to make the xm4 be similar to the edifiers tuning, both sounds okay with middling details and soundstage and the edifier actually wins out with slightly better soundstage.

Don’t get your hopes up too much cause he ranked it much lower than the aria after relistening to it. I slightly disagree but my taste is more v shaped, which the Kima is slightly more v shaped, than his taste and in terms of technicalities I find the kinda and aria to be similar but crin don’t like them that much.
