I had the same problem, I'm not sure what is happening in the game but it's definitely annoying when you feel like you won every round and they score one punch and it's theirs smh

It appears that your opponent lacks technique; perhaps it was a lucky strike, but it's improbable they could have outscored you! Given that this is an early access game, glitches or exploits for cheating might be present. However, I digress... On a personal note, if I observe cheating in the online PvP, I will cease playing this game. I have zero tolerance for scammers and cheaters., ... that sort of garbage.
