Seahawks has a better defense the Texans defense linebackers gassed out and didn't do there job and the Texans coach on 4th and 2 for a first down got scared like he did in New England.

I honestly think that the defense coordinator for the Seahawks is quite vanilla. The seahawks are a great defense, but they sit in that soft zone all day and they don"t blitz that much to utilize the speed of the line/ linebackers and physicality of the db's. its not hard to pick a zone apart. yes, watson had a great game, but I wouldve loved to see some exotic blitzs and seen how he wouldve reacted to having five to six players in his face every other play.

Seattle is a cold team , november comes and Russel becomes a top 3 QB, they just need to protect him and give him some kind resemblance running game and he will drive you through the playoffs.

I'm more impressed by who Deshaun Watson put those numbers up against, He was shredding the Seahawks defense for most of the game with pin-point accuracy, superb anticipation(That throw he made just inches behind Sherman's shoulder is one of the best throws i've ever seen), and generalship(he has truly elevated the play of everyone around him). Not to take anything from Russel Wilson but he did it against a struggling Houston Texans defense lead and coached by Romeo Crennel and Mike Vrabble who both clearly don't have the scheme and pedigree to get the absolute most out of the immense amount of talent they have on that side of the ball, Through talent alone they should be able to produce at the same level as the 85 Bears, And even when healthy with Watt and Mercilus in game they struggled to generate consistent pressure and dominate the LOS. IJS, The Texans need to absolutely make some changes to their coaching staff after this season. Mike Pettine and Dennis Thurman are available, Both run the same scheme that they run in Jacksonville and would be paramount to them taking that next step towards being an elite defense.

Their defense is so trash it’s actually pathetic. Deshaun Watson should have 1-2 more wins at least. He went in there and did pretty well against the legion of whom at their house. He did throw 1-2 dumb interceptions (and one at the end of the game which was a bad pass too but whatever) but he still deserves the win. Their defense couldn’t contain a no-name WR Paul Richardson. Its almost as if their defense doesn’t know what a double team is

There was talk that this was the weakest Quarterback draft class in years, But I found that laughable because imo this was the best QB draft class in years, Deshaun Watson, DeShone Kizer, Davis Webb, and Mitch Trubusky ALL have that elite franchise Quarterback potential but 3 out of the 4 just weren't fortunate enough to be drafted by a team with a good coaching staff that could minimize the learning curve and help them realize that potential. Watson in essence is a beneficiary of a good coaching job by Bill O'Brien and his offensive-staff, If any of the other 3 got drafted by that team that would put up similar numbers as well. I just know that as soon as the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns get a good coaching staff in there that those guys will perform at an elite level as well.

They used to talk about winning, not who showed up and lost. RW as a rookie was winning agianst Brady-Rogers-Romo-Kaepernick and qbing in the playoffs. And he is 3" shorter. A 12th pick overall is SAPPOSED to be good. RW was the 75th pick. QB'S like Luck-RG3- Osweiler-Weeden-Tannehill- all picked before Wilson., and NOT playing or starting this year. ALL OF THEM. And Watson came to mind for Chris Carter first? 3/4 Watson who has beat teams with a combined record of 7/15? STHU.

O’Brien did make those mistakes 2 times, you cannot play it safe at times especial when the QB your playing against is a great one

Glad to see that Watson is shutting up all the doubters. I will be interested to see how defenses adjust to him next year. BUT I would still take Carson Wentz. Wentz doesnt have that insane athleticism but I think Carson is still better because he has the whole package from the brain down to ball skills.

The Texans stomped the Titans, The Titans stomped the Jaguars and the Jaguars destroyed the Texans. Can anybody tell me what is going on in this division?

Why’d he have to make it about race? Wtf does him being black having anything to do with his talent? African Americans talking about moving forward as one and talking about how colour doesn’t matter, yet he’s up here talking about Deshaun being black.

I definitely feel like next season the Texans will be one of the top teams cause the defense will definitely get better and the offense is providing that they can handling any defense, and also the Seahawks didn't even make it to the playoffs and also didn't even won their division🤔

Why does everything a race issue? The owner made the comparison to all NFL players, not just blacks, the whites, Asian, etc.

I'm starting to like Nick Wright, I just don't like how he talks XD I seem to disagree with Cris Carter a lot. That loss was absolutely on Bill O'Brien. If your quarterback is playing that well against the league's best defense at the end of the game, when they're tired, you let him win the game for you. I will say, though, that I think the Texans scored their last touchdown way too quickly XD They needed to burn the clock more...hindsight..

Watson and Trubisky looked great yesterday. Both franchises have a lot to look forward to. Once Trubisky gets some legitimate receivers and the Texans defense starts to play better, both teams can have a better opportunity to get some w's

Yup Watson ain't gonna be no rg3 so yeah. Just wait till he matures. He has the it factor. He's not a run first QB unlike RG3. He did it in college at Clemson just like he's doing it today. He can read defense. He is just like Russell Wilson in so many ways. That guy is something special. Even through adversity through a racist bossman he still can ball. Proud of that dude. Wait till he cleans up his mistakes and be turnover free.

Watson played against a healthy legion of boom. Meanwhile, wilson pplayed against a 25th ranked depleted texan defense at home... GTFOH WHAT WATSON ACHIEVed WAS FAR GREATER...

Freedom Speaks wilson has no run game and no real superstar receivers. People just dont like to give wilson credit for some reason

Freedom Speaks lol yeah the offense had over 150 yards that had nothing to do with Watson (even though Hopkins 75 yard td run will go on Watson's stat line) while the Seahawks had negative yardage outside of Wilson. Also, it doesn't matter the reputation of the defense if they are constantly leaving people wide open like Seattle did. Hopkins and Fuller are more dynamic than any Seattle receiver, I love Baldwin and he's got hands but Hopkins and Fuller are a true 1,2 punch. What Wilson did was easily twice as impressive as what Watson did.

JT Nelson Yes their offense had 150+ yards that weren't Watson while Wilson actually got more yards than the Seahawks total net offense. Did you even watch the game? Just watch the completions. Wilson had to throw the ball so accurately to make 90% of his completions while Watson was throwing to wide open receivers. Fuller was wide open on the first TD Hopkins ran a screen for a 75 yard TD The Texans actually had a decent running game Watson threw 3 picks Watson is great and he put that greatness on display but trying to say his performance was even close to Wilson's is ridiculous.
