Decidueye is really just like Varus in League, because you can go a build that kites with max AS and deal almost no damage while getting in your enemy's face, or go for one big arrow that deals 50% of a foe's HP from a safe distance

The defence buffs feels a lot better during teamfights rather than skirmishes. Your team is usually absoring all the big moves while the things that would behitting you are cinder unite, outer rim of leafeon unite etc. Keeps you healthy while taking this chunk damage

Razor Leaf Decidueye with Bubble Beam Psyduck and Helping Hand Blissy is disgustingly good. Also, they need to increase the range of Razor Leaf. It should have the same range as Flash Cannon Duraldon.

@ there are several Pokémon in the game with strong movement options that could easily close the distance and kill owl in 2 seconds: All-Rounders: Aegislash Blaziken Ceruledge Charizard(unite move) Gyarados Lucario Machamp Metagross(unite/zen headbutt) Mimikyu Scizor/Scyther Tsareena Water Urshifu Zacian(metal claw blocks projectiles) Tinkaton is scheduled to drop a few hours and it can snipe owl with smack down then close the distance with ice hammer or unite move Galarian Rapidash will eventually release and I’m sure it wouldn’t struggle to get near owl either Every speedster in the game can easily get close and kill him too since they all have crazy good mobility. Razor Leaf also loses to stealth so Sableye and Dragapult are effective counters too. I think one of Razor leaf’s biggest flaws is that it requires Owl to fight in melee range which is terrible for them(squishy, low movement speed, and no escape skills). Also Owl passive and unite move does more damage the further it’s away from a target but Razor Leaf forces Decidueye to fight up close, in range of most melee abilities. Snipers can also kill owl while staying out of flash cannon range like Snipers shot Inteleon, and solar beam Venusaur and Mew. And Decidueye’s movement options would still be bad so it would be a pretty easy target to hit(still wouldn’t be able to move while attacking ) Maybe the range shouldn’t be as big as dash cannon but it definitely needs to be bigger than what it is now.

Yeah charging charm is good on razor leaf it will proc quite often and surprise the speedsters diving you when one auto randomly does 3x damage
