The Shop you unlock Moogle Power is called "Junon Souvenirs" its unlocked in 2-4-1. The earliest Time is Chapter 10. The one and only Moogle Power you can get earlier is trough 70% Mission completion which should be possible around chapter 5

@@renooftheturks984 If u struggling, Use Darkness spell with buster sword stance, use it all the time until u reach 20% profiency, After that continue the story until chapter 9 to play waterfall mini game for goblin punch, fusion it with any dmw materia to get costly punch, easy 99999 damage XD. Best spell in side mission just use electrocute and Tri fira/etc

If you don't have the Faerie Ring. The next best thing is probably Doc's Code. It automatically uses a potion when your health is low.

The moogles power material is buyable from chapter 10 you unlock the 2-2-4 or 2-2-5 which you need to get to 2-4-1 then you beat that to get the shop that sells it so not very early game friendly for those who looking

Another tip for level especially if you're using a PS5 is to use the Remote share play on your phone or ipad. It lets you connect your console and game on your device. Good way to grind and keep an eye on things while you go around the house doing errands and so. It also saves power and so on.

The mission I used simply for the sake of spinning the DMW while stealing SPR stones and doing proficiency is the caterpillars in the beach; it requires minimal setup (the anti-stop and no-flinch acc). In a single run you get around 70 SPR stones, they also drop MAG stones and Pots, so you not only getting items, but leveling up different stuff. Also the quest is long enough for the DMW to spin enough to land a couple limits; on average I level up at least three materias one level. Plus, theres always mogy chance.

Actually. I found out that magical punch can easily deal 99.999, and with Gebji item you can erase MP cost, so you will deal max dmg without HP cost on it. Try it.

Cissnei is very usefull in almost every farming and grinding strategy. Heavenly status is broken in this game and you can abuse the Heavenly status by canceling the verges every time. Note: this method is not for AFK but it's a lot faster and more resourceful than just doing AFK material leveling (if you don't have moogle material). First you need to reach Ch3 and unlock Cissnei on DMW and spam her limit break. The only Limit break that you need to use in this method is Cissnei and Magic Pot only (include Moogle if you unlock it's DMW), cancel all the verges (by ending the battle) if it's not them but always aim for heavenly status. What is the effect of Heavenly? This will increase your chances of DMW to undergo verge state. Each verges will have higher chance of getting double or triple number (perfect for Materia leveling at this point if you don't have Moogle unlocked) Each verges have higher chance to undergo Limit Break. (and it still count on your DMW even if you cancel it) All you need is to enter a mission where you can spam encounters and you need to kill every extra enemy and leave 1 enemy that you can kill on a single blow or at least before the DMW complete the verge. Wait for the verge to occur and if the verge is not Cissnei/Magic Pot/Moogle, end the battle immediately. This way you will keep the Heavenly status longer because it will only be consumed if you aligned a bingo for Magic Pot on DMW and you can always refresh the Heavenly state whenever Cissnei's Limit Break is available. If you made a mistake and you accidentally completed other character Limit, simply forfeit and retry the battle. This method is useful for Early Materia leveling and Item/SP farming. If you followed Primal's Method on how to get the Moogle Amulet acce, Hell Materia and Status Strike. This method will become more effective. Simply enter Mission 6-1-2 and spam encounter in this Mission. You can farm potion, ether, soma and lighting material (convert it for 500 SP for every 1 star lightning). Once you have enough potion, ether and soma you can visit other Mission you previously completed and farm rare drops there like mako stones. I'm Currently at Ch3 at sector 8 scene and already completed all available Mission (except the one for the summon materias) and I'm only lvl 40 at this point but I can deal 9999 damage on my energy Materia that I found in 9star mission.

I did this a lot at the start, even with 1700 hp if u kill all the soldiers and just leave one and you can safely go afk. I typically find it all mastered around 1 and half hours in, but of course go with moogle when you have it. Oh and I think you can only get the moogle materia from the shop. Although there is a moogle amulet at 8-4-4.

I also noticed that Moogle ONLY appears when you are about to get 3 Aeriths. So I'm guessing that having heightened emotions for her helps speeds up the process.

Best advice I can give is to look at each mission boss as a puzzle. They give you all the tools to counter them, albeit occasionally in strange orders. If you're noticing a guy is stomping you in one hit with physical damage, stack some VIT, or SPR if it's magic doing most of the killing. Once you start getting accessories that null specific types of magic and a good HP materia it just steamrolls from there. Normal attacks are useless for a huge chunk of the optional missions, instead do your best to exploit weaknesses and remember to use any kind of Gravity magic on high HP enemies to whittle them down. Using Shell, Protect, or Wall will significantly reduce incoming damage, have at least one of them up depending on the fight.

Had every mission possible in chapter 3 except Minerva done. Means till mission 9-6-5. Just get a Costly Punch by fusioning, electrocute from fusing, a hell blizzaga, wall, Status ward and striker from the shop. If you keep failing in chapter 10 at rank 6/7 missions, you clearly missed out some good materia and accessoires.

@@VindicatorMorty I have hell materias, Wall, Status Ward, Graviga, Osmoga and all "important" materias except punch (and I guess Status Strike). I even have only missable shop. That's problem: I can't get to M4-4-4 where I have heard I can get thing I need for punch because enemies have way too much health and they one or two shot me.

@@UltraCasualPenguin thats the Mission with the two Vajadhara at the end? I killed those boys with electrocute. But you need wall. You should take materias with you which give MAG and VIT. For those guys you dont need any status ward or strike. And ofc enough Ether. There attacks are pretty simple. Most important is to Block there ultimate.

If you play through the Shinra mock battles, even without finishing them all in Ch.2 you get the armored vest and bulletproof vest. With less than 800 hp I could go afk without ever needing to worry about health

so I'm a little confused with the DMW boosting. you are saying that if I'm maxed level, I cant used the cursed item to store xp and boost DMW? or like you can do this as long as you are not lvl 99 yet? I havent done the leveling one yet, I'm trying to boost everything and get a good materia set up. that bit about the DMW boost is confusing though.

Basically, if you have lots of XP tallied, you have an increased chance to get a matching DMW the moment you level up. As you get more XP, the chance significantly increases. Sometimes you're essentially "forced" to level. Once you hit level cap, there'll be no more forced levels, thus less matching DMWs. The cursed ring stops the DMW from spinning, so you can't level up, saving those forced matches for when you need them. Overall, I wouldn't really worry about it. If you use the Lucky Stars limit, you'll enter a heightened state of DMW (Heavenly at Lv 5),and that will get you more matches, too. What I do is have 2 sets of materia, one with Lucky Stars to get heavenly, finish mission, swap out set for moogle+levelling stuff then do as the video says.

I need to ask, because I can't find it anywhere on google, but sometimes the DMW rolls two of the same number, and it does nothing to my materia, even if it can level up. You can see that happen several times in this video for proof, I was wondering if anyone understood how actually leveling materia works as just waiting for two of the same numbers to roll up obvously isn't doing it all the time, or is it pure luck when it does happen, or have another factor like EXP?

You can do this anytime from chapter 2. Choose the very 1st mission and be at least 1000-2000hp, choose the materias you want to level up, go afk and voila! Max level. It takes me 10 to 20mins. Having the moogle summon is a plus but not necessary

Wait did they change how the curse ring works? Cause In the original I gained a LOT of levels by equipping it and storing a lot of EXP, then removed it and went AFK in zack vs 1000 Shinra troops and I went from around level 70 to 96, and that was on NG+ where leveling up is much harder than regular game.

I noticed that equipping 6 Moogle Power materia still only shows moogle's emotion increase at two arrows. EDIT: alright, after maxing them all out, it does go to the 4 large arrows.

Its going to be a to call between gil farming and materials mastering I'll probably do gil farming. What I'm doing atm is doing a levelless run as far as I can and save. Then I'll make a new save and take curse off and grind. I'll then go back to my cursed save file to try and do the whole fame cursed.

Do more enemies attacking you increase the DMW odds or can I kill all but 1 enemy and just let that enemy attack me? I’ve done that before with the older Materia leveling method while having my guard button held down so they only deal 1 dmg during their physical punch attack and 0 damage when firing their gun.

Yeah, I'm just never going to do the Genji Gloves in chapter 3 again... EVER. 2 hours of dodging at lv17 and only having my DMW for damage. Then to pop a phoenix down incase he uses his limit break. Atleast after that part it was a one way street, but I had to rely on Energy, Hell Firaga, Hell Thundaga, Hell Blizzaga. But I didnt want to level up too much and then I ended up 53 by the the time I got to the genji gloves.

I added luck accessories to boost my luck to 255 and i am able to get moogle super consistently with the single moogle materia i got in chapter 5. So luck might also help get more DMW matching heads and boosting your chance of moogle? I combined your SP master materia farm and mastered them using your moogle method and i get 1.5-2 million SP when i sell them all mastered.

luck does NOT effect the DMW in any way what so ever, your just having a placebo effect, luck only effects critical hit rate and item drop rate

When you say Materia levels don’t matter how does one judge when to level a materia up? Just got to the beginning of chapter 3 and I’d usually just afk to level everything up to max (at 37 hours lol). Does it make sense to leave most materia at level one like the ga spells etc? Currently following your how to be OP before chapter 4 guide. And just finished the Wutai missions that gave the 2 shops.

So when it comes to materia levels you only really level it up when you need it mastered for fusion, outside of that a couple like electrocute, costly punch and quake are worth leveling due to the damage increase, theres also Percentage modifiers like SP master which are worth leveling aswell

@@AsimSiddiqui007 you Just steal those sp master from the abysal worms. After that you Equip them, go into Mission 1-1-1 and raise their level to master. Then you convert them into sp to fuse stronger ones. Like he did on his video. Because one mastered converts to 425k SP. In average you need 1kk sp to maximize a materia. Like a Wall +100 Vitality.

you can still do it at level 99, just means it will take a little longer thats all, but to prevent level ups you can use the curse ring or heike soul to give you auto curse which stops the DMW spinning

@@TerraFlareKSFL You stop the DMW to gain experience over your level. If you have too much experience there's a forced DMW match as you level up when you're not cursed, which gives you an extra limit. You can only do it so many times because you get a level with the forced limit.

Kill the first 6 enemies. The last two that spawn kill only one and for sure you don't have to worry about being killed AFK. I did this at level 12. Just a tip for anyone that don't have those rings

well i have spent alot of time testing things out, if were talking a fresh game i could get to and beat minerva in under 20 hours and then finish the game watching all cutscenes and doing all minigames about another 10. so you can 100% everything in about 30 hours pretty easily.

@@Primalliquid92 yeah sounds about right. seen a lot of reviews complaining about missions being useless and quoting the 10hrs thing, but then again just last night there was a walkthrough for chapter 4/5 where the comments were like how did you beat Genesis so easily and I died in one hit. It was sad. I commented on that stating if you want to be under-leveled and have no summons and materia by all means don't do missions but you are not playing the game xD

materia leveling can be done at any point of the game, just go to mission 1-1-1 and go afk pretty much, moogle is the more advanced version of that
