Why do people think this game is unpopular/niche. Lol.. As a spin-off game the reception in this game back in the PSP game was insane.. Heck even FF12/13 being a mainline is much more pitiful than this title.

The images are basically moves or limit breaks inspired by the character. Angeal doesn't use his sword so a beat down combo, sephiroth and his left handed octa slash, cloud and his meteors (his 2nd to last limit break in the original), aerith heals and invulnerable for a time, etc

Really don't like Zach's new voice. But can't wait to play this game again as it's only final fantasy game I've completed, unless count Kingdom Hearts game

Nope, it's just there. It only benefits you though, there's no downsides to it

@@PedroStrife curse ring only prevents you from leveling up, but the slots will still be there, thankfully we don't hear *Modulating phase* every 5 seconds anymore and forces you to see the slots
