But I also feel with this one, I wont have anything else to promote after CW Ends this event lol, so figured. Its now or never. "The idea for the series stemmed from Wolfman's desire to abandon the DC Multiverse depicted in the company's comics-which he thought was unfriendly to readers-and create a single, unified DC Universe (DCU)." (From the Wikipedia page of Crisis on Infinite Earths) So... Anti-Monitor needed to be this powerful in order to create the Crisis on Infinite Earths which resulted on only one universe to remain. Without Anti-Monitor they would either just abandon a bunch of series back in the 80s/90s or the DC comics would be complete chaos right now.

@@l0sts0ul89try keeping up with all the Crises and events, first you have this one that destroys the multiverse, then Infinite Crisis brings it back, Final Crisis has Darkseid try to control it, Flashpoint has the multiverse change again, and Dark Knights Death Metal brings everything back while adding an infinite number of infinite multiverses on top of everything, making literally everything canon

I just read this recently and HOLY COW. It's a lot to take in and I would not recommend reading this in one sitting. While I don't think you need to know everything about the DCU before this, it may be a good idea to do some research on who's who even though some characters get a very minor cameo appearance. The story does a good enough job telling you who these characters are and why you should care for them. It's just the story is so dense and jumps from one point to another to showcase how big this story is, it's hard to keep track. That being said, this is still a story that hasn't been surpass by any other comic event since in terms of epicenes, by both Marvel and DC themselves. And I highly recommend it to any comic or superhero fan.

While the CW COIE is obviously different than the original comic but I like how they somewhat kept the story structure of it. You can roughly correspond the episodes like this: Part 1 & Part 2: From 0:48 Part 3: From 29:55 Based on the promos, Part 4 will likely roughly follow from 54:55 and Part 5 will be from 58:45 I hope the CW COIE event create more public interest in the story and get a more accurate animated adaptation greenlit

@Darth Pancake Studios I mean, how many times they adapted the Death of Superman storyline? There were two animated adaptation (one not so comic accurate and another closer to comic) and BvS adapted elements of it. Whether you liked CW COIE or not, it raised awareness of the COIE to general audience (and even more now coz of that one special appearance by a certain someone). I wont be surprised that another version of COIE will be done again in the near future and an animated movie adaptation seems likely judging how they've been adapting famous comic arcs lately.

That's kind of how I used to read comics when I was young...by doing the characters voices in my head. Boy did that slow my reading speed down when came to reading regular books! Unfortunately trying to get back to the stories of my favorite supers and everything just looked like it was swirling chaotic stuff happening everywhere!!! Coming from a fan of Mobius, at the height of there power's I don't understand why people think he could beat Galactus, COIE Antimonitor used a weapon to destroy universe's and Pre Crisis heroes were able to fight on par with him, Galactus at the height of his power would still slap around Pre Crisis character's. I still think Antimonitor "Could" win but I think he would have a rough time.
