Using the events detailed in the canon Darth Vader comic and Star Wars Rebels, I'll be adapting the plot of The Force Unleashed 1 into the current Disney Star Wars timeline. What would happen?
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an action-adventure game developed by LucasArts and part of The Force Unleashed multimedia project. It was initially developed for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 consoles and on iOS, second-generation N-Gage, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, and Java-equipped mobile phone handhelds. The game was released in North America on September 16, 2008, in Australia and Southeast Asia on September 17, and in Europe on September 19. LucasArts released downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. An Ultimate Sith Edition of the game, containing both new and previously released downloadable content, was released in November 2009, and later ported to the macOS and Microsoft Windows. An enhanced remaster of the Wii version, developed by Aspyr, was released on Nintendo Switch on April 20, 2022.The project bridges the first two Star Wars trilogies, acting as an origin story for both the united Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Civil War depicted in the original trilogy. The game introduces a new protagonist named "Starkiller", a powerful Force user trained as Darth Vader's secret apprentice, who is tasked with hunting down Jedi survivors of the Great Jedi Purge while trying to keep his existence a secret. However, after he is tasked with planting the seeds of what would become the Rebel Alliance, which Vader plans to take advantage of to overthrow the Emperor, Starkiller begins to question his own morality and to slowly redeem himself. Following Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm in 2012, the game became part of the non-canonical Star Wars Expanded Universe (also known as Star Wars Legends), and an alternative origin for the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Civil War was given in other forms of Star Wars media, such as Star Wars Rebels.
Star Wars Rebels is an American 3D animated science fiction television series produced by Lucasfilm Animation and set in the Star Wars universe. It takes place over a decade after Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and progressing toward the events of the original Star Wars film. It depicts the Galactic Empire hunting down the last of the Jedi while a fledgling rebellion against the Empire emerges. The visual style of the series is inspired by the original Star Wars trilogy concept art by Ralph McQuarrie. The series features new characters, along with some from the original trilogy and from the previous animated series, The Clone Wars. I like the ideas you got in here for the most part. Like keeping Starkiller as a secret apprentice, having him turn good and meeting Ahsoka. I wasn't a fan of changing the events on Malachor, but that's just me and it's due to me being a big fan of Ahsoka.

Very creative placement in Darth vaders story in canon! Still, i'm not sure it would be in canon Darth Vaders character to act the same way legends vader did that early in the timeline. I'm certainly doubtful of them letting Galen be that powerful during the empire era as well

Canon Vader is desperate to kill Sidious throughout the majority of canon, that remains the same. Also, if you noticed, Galen is nerfed here compared to Legends. He contends with Ahsoka sure, but she's empathetic towards him; and Galen loses to Vader point blank.

Darth Vader certainly had thoughts about it early on but he was never fed up enough with the emperor to try anything until after the hand maiden incident, which was after ESB. Until that point he was still content in giving the empire force sensitive infants like eeth koths kid without ever trying anything. If anything he might be more motivated to kill Galen while he's a boy given how insecure he is about being replaced if Lord vader thought he'd be powerful enough. (he ended up destroying the Holocron of catalogued force sensitive kids in another early comic.) Come to think of it, Vaders fortress wouldn't be a good place to hide Galen either. Members of Palpatines inner circle visit it for inspections, has hallucinogenic Gas leaks, and it's attacked by natives semi regularly. Gah, I'm sorry for being so nitpicky. Starkiller in canon was always gonna be a hard sell for me

In canon we always had a deep hate for palpatine and tried to fight back a few times. Him having a secret apprentice to try to overthrow palpatine makes sense. Especially placing it this early in the timeline, allowing to completely crush vader's plans for years until luke reignites the flame

This video is amazing, but probably not how I would go about including Starkiller in canon. I like the way events play out in Rebels too much to change anything that happens. Full Fat Videos came up with the idea of Starkiller playing a sort of Winter Soldier role in the galaxy, and I love it. Starkiller being a sort of project that Vader had going on in the background. One that was kept in Carbonite most of the time, but let out when Vader didn't want to get his hands dirty with a task too difficult for the Inquisitors. (Maybe he could even be genetically enhanced or something through the clone experiments they're doing in Bad Batch). All of that could tie in really well with future seasons of Ahsoka. They could very easily make a plot where Thrawn is after Starkiller, who is currently encased in Carbonite somewhere among one of Vader's many safehouses.

I like a lot how you introduced him, it was very interesting and creative. But you lost me when he is now replacing Vader in his fight with Ashoka in Rebels, for my own taste I would have liked that he met Cal Kestis, making it a rivalry between the two game protagonists, to then become friends and go around the galaxy together. Although this was an entertaining video, keep going at it.

I feel like I’m one of the very few who strongly thinks starkiller should stay far away from cannon. If they made him cannon he’d have to be nerfed a lot, like he’d have to be like 5% of his game power for it to be compelling and not story breaking. It’s get boring to see someone who can’t lose even when fighting Jedi like Luke Skywalker.

That's not necessarily true. We've seen Force-Unleashed level powers in canon a few times, so nerfing Starkiller is not necessary. If you are worried that he will outshine Luke, just give Luke more impressive feats with the Force.

If you think about it for a second you'll see that ut doesn't maje sense when considering the storyof the games. In both games the canon ending is the good ending. So in force unleashed it's starkiller "dying" a hero against vader and palpatine and in force unleashed 2, it's him setting out for a new adventure after capturing vader by exploiting his lightning weakness. Anything other than the main story of each game leading to the good ending in each is an alternate version of the story, even within the game. Then you also have the novels putting more context behind his feats, showing the despite being very strong, he wasn't on vader's and palpatine's level just yet

I feel transforming anything from media to video games you need to amp it up like how they invented monsters just for that game alone. I just like the story and idea of this character not his feats.
