He goes all out and doesn´t fuck around while Solid still has insane super human abilities he likes to act silent without being noticed and leaving traces. So i imagine Solid in Raccon City taking care of the zombies one by one maybe just neutralizing them not using lethal weapons and trying to find out what caused all of that mess and using grenades and missiles only when facing the bosses or major threats. I don´t think he would break a sweat until he faces Wesker or a high level threat like Nemesis while Solidus would simply obliterate all the zombies with his gun, throw some grenades with his tentacles to get rid of the hordes of zombies, use his super human strenght and speed to easily eliminate Mr X and Nemesis and would let Wesker use all of his power until he decides to with him in half. That´s how I imagine it.

An easy way to figure the winner in a death battle is to know what they went through, snake fight some super humans and other with supernatural powers like luck, ghostly and straight up immortality powers, snake do some anime protagonist stuff while Sam is as powerful as will trained real soldiers, Sam as best is a S rank soldier in Outer Heaven.

in regards to the sprinting speed, that's actually not even the highest. With the mechanical arm mobility upgrade, Venom is actually faster than Usain Bolt, and in Reflex Mode, his sprinting speed is comparable to bullet fire, not as fast, but almost as fast. The best movement feat is actually at the end of the MSX games when Solid escapes Outer Heavens detonation and clears kilometers on foot before the nuke goes off.

Yeah they are strictly gameplay, the best attribute that snake has is that he's just a soldier and there's nothing superhuman about him. MGS1 is the true representation of him, the latter games went a bit far with the fantasy for gameplays sake. He was just a clone of the greatest soldier ever, though with the recessive genes but through nurturing, immense training, combat experience and sheer dedication and will power with his conviction of doing the right thing and being the only hope, he was capable of besting his superior clone who was left to be moulded by harsh nature. Snake was just a great man, not a superhero. He was an underdog that overcame all of the obstacles that he came up against despite the odds. Thats the best thing about him and no matter what he accomplished he never saw himself as a hero, these feats just needed to be done for the good of the world and he was there, he had to do it.

Minor correction - The USS Missouri didn't use tomahawk missiles as these would have been disabled by the Patriot network being shut down, it used its 16" cannons as they were pre-patriot weapons and therefore able to function. They would have been significantly more powerful and have far greater armour penetration capabilities than a conventional (non nuclear) tomahawk albeit at a much reduced range. Great video though.

3:34 That is a very old statement back when he was still working on MGS4 and was planning to finish the series there. With the release of Peace Walker he pretty much retconned the entirety of Portable Ops. Big Boss never had the funds he got from the half of the philosopher's legacy in Peace Walker; he was pretty much broke...and even Miller flatout breaks the fourth wall telling you to forget about the events of San Hieronyomo. Not to mention in Ground Zeroes special mission, the Portable Ops logo doesn't react to the UV light and Miller says "Looks like nothing special" when you try and make it react to the light. I think it's pretty clear that Kojima's opinion on Portable ops has pretty much changed since the statement you put in your video.

Sounds like a double standard to me to only quote what supports your cause and ignoring what doesn't. Portable Ops didn't appear in MGS4, the only thing that was used was a still image from that game but non of the events are ever mentioned in any way shape or form...and again this was BEFORE Peace Walker came to be and changed everything. MGSV and GZ mentioned all the events of Peace Walker, but no mentioning of any of the events of Portable Ops in any way shape or form. Can you explain to me what happened to the half of the Philosipher's legacy and it's funds at the start of PW and why Big Boss is all broke without explanation? I hope you don't give me the silly answer that "Big Boss is crazy and spent them all on cigars" (Some PO defenders used this line of reasoning, I kid you not). The fact that Portable Ops wasn't in any of the collections while even MG1 and MG2 can be accessed through the menu of MGS3 is a clear indication that the series creator doesn't consider PO to be canon. I do however think that a comparison can be made in the sense of "Venom can't do this but Solid can do this" just not in the terms of Big Boss and Solid which would be "Venom can do this so Solid can inherently do this as well."

Venom = Big Boss and Solid is stated to be nearly identical to Big Boss in skill, potential, and physique; he then later scales above Venom. Just basic scaling.

I can go on, but the point is there are too many superhuman feats that go against the claim that Snake's just a normal human, and you need to accept that.

Kojima himself talked about the genetic nonsense being his fault for not having proper knowledge. Same thing happened again with physics: a stomp from a MG to a human body would be like a hammer and a nail. If the body can withstand it, the person would simply get nailed into the ground. 17:20 the boktai solar gun by hideo kojima also growing up playing metal gear inspired me to train in karate as a kid and then judo later on with a private teacher! Being in chicago suburbs and in rough areas I actually would hand bullys their own asses on a platter in the form of my shoe or fist haha if you get my drift ;) so goes without saying hideo kojima knows his stuff... Kojima and David hayter created someone that was always a here to me even if in a video game everything he was doing I felt like I was right there with him and i’m sure you all felt the same!! Anyways today now I am a bodybuilder and still play the old metal gears i love like 1/ 2/3 or 4 and have saves where I can replay moments I love! The 1911 is also my favorite pistol.. from Metal gear solid 3/4 shooting it in real life was something i always wanted to shoot and own and its a piece of history that is perfect in every way! Love the video great job man!

The crazy thing is he isn't that powerful at all, but he's able to do everything he does. He's the recessive "inferior" walking bioweapon clone of BB with super accelerated aging and he still kicks everyone's ass and never gives up. His will is what makes him awesome. He's the only character to truly realize the Boss' will and one of the only characters to live out the rest of their days peacefully.

It's meant as a joke poking at the fact that Kojima apparently didn't like PO. Nothing about that statement implies PO didn't happen, and it doesn't retcon the game's appearances and references in MGS4.

I don't even understand why Kojima doesn't like Portable Ops. He was the executive producer of the game. I guess Kojima only considers the games he had the most control over as canon. Still there are too many references in Portable Ops to ignore which tie directly into Guns of the Patriots. Such as Zero creating the Patriots and Big Boss being involved. Getting rid of the Philophers and gaining the other half of the legacy. Paramedic and Sigint being part of the Patriots. Eva being found in Hanoi by Big Boss. Way too much to ignore.

Love the video I did have a issue with how it looked like you kept cutting yourself off to play a clip of one of the games, and Some of the info you used does seem to be somewhat or lacking detail like with his running speed not adding in reflex mode or the fact that is WITH him being fully equipped with hundreds of pounds of Weapons grenades and Ammo and since you were adding in Ammos and Weapons you could only get if you end up getting if snake did certain things to aquire them yet you didnt seem to add in the fact that you didn't add in the 1 item that is more or less actually Cannon as in he mentions it in the 2nd to last final area of the game when he trains Jack with the sword. Yes im talking about ye ol Bandana of infinite Ammo that snakes points to to tell jack that he has ALL the ammo he needs.

I think that is Solid's at his peak. By the events of MG2, he has became an alcoholic and continued to be a chainsmoker. He is still physically fit but his clone body is nearing his expiration. Though his mental processing skill should always be above average human as he always "makes up" solutions at whim without problems.

I would not be so sure about Naked Snake surpassing Boss in CQC. I think Boss deliberately let Snake win as she left her protective sneaksuit open to make herself more vulnerable. She knew Snake was going to win as it was part of her role in preventing potential escalation of the cold war. Boss defecting was a ruse and she knew she was going to die in the end. She sacrificed herself to save the world.
