What’s funny about the Martian manhunter part , is that he’s always been this powerful. It’s just that he ALWAYS held back because he’s a pacifist . That’s why ag the end of the issue he pretty much says that fernus wasn’t some kind of amped form. But instead just his darker side unleashed . Also he was still toying with them the entire time too That said , I would’ve put it above the final bat suit since the suit is all speculation plus everyone it fought was holding back

14:38 Interesting and Great video, Cosmic Armor Superman (CAS) is my main favorite on upon the list. Since he was essentially a weapon or a plot device who could break through the fourth wall and embodies everything about the comic book, in these case the entire DC comics existence on fiction. This made him the perfect character to show up in one of Grant Morrison's out-there Multiversal romps. Also we clearly understand why they use him just once on the events of Final Crisis on Superman Beyond 1&2, because he was composed of pure thoughts, the robot reacts to an opponent's strength and power, increasing its own in response to always overcome any danger. It can recover from damage and manipulate its body in order to better fulfill this task, becoming not only more resilient but even larger in the face of immense threats. His strength and speed transcend anything imaginable and are not constrained by the limits of other beings throughout the DC multiverse, allowing him to literally contain the Limbo itself within its hand. Due to this omniversal and overpowered nature, there's yet to be any further appearances of this high-concept incarnation of DC's greatest superhero. The fact that he casually interacts with various universes and realities would require a story to explore more of his lore, since it's unlikely that this version of the Man of Steel will be seen outside of the comics anytime again, this by the fact that he's so esoteric even within the comic books.

Captain Adam was needed to 'fuse' the 2 Supes into the Cosmic Armor otherwise them touching will destroy the universe. It appears the armor required the duality essence of Superman. So it makes sense.

Here is the thing. Its not about the people in the combo. It is about two fundamental opposites fusing with each other basically summoning the Cosmic Armor. So it could potentially be applied to any DC character.

Perhaps, on a meta level Superman is such a powerful idea (being really popular and a embodiment of hope in the dc universe) that two of him could power a armor powerful enough to battle the monitors who are stand-ins for the editors. Like the creative potential of the idea of Superman becomes a threat in a plane of existence (or above existence) ruled by ideas and the vampires who suck the creativity out of ideas (editors). So, even though power level wise him fusing with another Superman with the help of captain Adam shouldn’t grant him that power, he makes up for it in his power over DC on a meta level. Convoluted theory for sure, but this was written by Grant Morrison.

From what I understood about CAS, he uses the power of the story of superman as source of his own power, and the story of superman is that superman always finds a way to win. Based on that, CAS is the strongest superman we've seen so far. I think some people don't think it's superman since he fused with ultraman to achieve the form. However, I wonder if tvere is a possibility for normal superman to be stronger. Since, unless I'm wrong, superman is the source of the story of superman which in turn is the source of CAS power, it should theoretically be possible for superman to reach this level on his own since he writes his own story. I don't know how that could happen or what name this form would be, but a superman harnessing the full power of his own story and being the author of the story instead of being piwered up by it should be more piwerful than CAS who is only powered up by the story

I think Hal is consistently the strongest. He routinely pulls off stuff Lanterns aren’t even supposed to do. Even in base form he’s one shorting multiverse killers, or creating entirely new universes. Hell, dude doesn’t even have a ‘real’ ring, it’s his willpower manifesting as ring. Like he made his ring out of pure will. Dude can’t die several times over, he either comes back as a Black (Nekron wants him as his champion) or literally just resurrects himself. Idk any other Lantern that can do that (besides kiiiina Sinestro and that’s more Qwardian ‘auto save’ tech than his own power/ingenuity). Behind him is probably Ganthet…. although idk if Ganthet is even still around lol Then the rest of the 4 Corpsmen (Kyle, John, Guy), Kilowog, Mogo. Maybe Sodam, idk if he’s a smidge above these guys or not. Beyond that… idk, hard to say. You got some veteran corps members, but then you also have some aliens with craaaaazy powers outside the ring. Like Kilowog could physically fight Superman without the ring. Lezzlepon(?) can literally infect an entire world and multiply himself (but he’s good). Mogo is a whole damn world with complete control over itself (like gravity manipulation and what not).

Idk if this would change your ranking, but i believe Spectre Hal is actually stronger than Parallax. He was able to fight evenly with a manifestation of Parallax-which hal had said did have the power of Parallax-as well as one shot Darkseid. Apokalips began destroying itself and Hal had to revive him, so this was likely true form Darkseid. On top of this, he can tap into the Logoz, basically his connection to the Presence. This allowed him to effectively erase the aforementioned Parallax manifestation by having all of creation absorb it Other than that, this was a really cool video, i greatly enjoyed it

Well, that depends. logically fully powered spectre is more powerful than anyone except for Presence or Elaine Belloc. But we do not see that in feats yet, as per my knowledge. Also, Michael was shown besting an unbound spectrum easily. But logically, spectre should be more powerful than thought robot.

I think this shows the power creep of comic characters, as if Death Battle hasn't already displayed that. We really need to go back to 70s and 80s versions of characters were power levels were more conceivable, and they weren't put beyond harm and dying.

Comics are interesting in that there has been a sort of reverse power creep, except for one-off events like these, the characters are really a lot weaker than they were in the past. Pre-crisis (that is before 1985) DC superheroes used to do completely ridiculous things like sneeze away solar systems
