Oh my god...Ayyapa Dosa..15 years back when I was in Baroda...I used to visit his stall twice or thrice a week for dinner. That time his stall was in old Padra road. Now I am in Bangalore. I am very happy to see him after 15 years through youtube...!

Not really. Pure rava masala dosa does not have dusting or red chili powder, salt, etc. It is also not eaten with Sambar.

He is okay. Almost all Hotel Dosa Masters make thicker while pouring the liquid flour mix/Batter and then take away top layer of flour mix/Batter to make crisp. That wastage amounts 20-30%. He is clever to make use of the Batter effectively. The ugly part is dipping his hand on the Batter Vessel. I too lived in Vododara/Baroda in 1991-1992 and 1996-1998. I know one Hotel opp to Vadodara Railway station run by Malayali Family. I used to go there some times.

Normal dosa is a plain dosa made up of fermented Rice batter ...Rava dosa is a mixed batter of Sooji, Maida, chopped onions Green chillies and Corriander which so crispy....And Mysore dosa is just like a normal dosa which is stuffed with Potato masala and chilli sauce spread
