- ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for a slight kick)
🌶️🧂 Spice Mix (use what you have, even if you don't have it all):
- 1 tablespoon (7g) paprika
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
🍗 Popcorn Chicken:
- 1 lb (453g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ¼ cup (30g) all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons (30g) cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- Cooking spray
👨🍳 Instructions:
- Preheat oven/air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix honey mustard sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and spices.
- Whisk egg in a shallow dish. Dip chicken in egg, then coat in flour mixture.
- Place chicken on a baking sheet or air fryer basket, spray with cooking oil.
