Hello and thanks for the video! Can you please tell me how long and what temp did you cook for? I boiled mine which is traditional in the Philippines. Typically we deep fry afterwards but I’m planning on finishing in my air fryer that has a rotisserie option. Thanks again!

Really inventive recipe Chef. I don't know how you do it but you continually come up with really flavorful combinations of tastes and texture I just don't find on other BBQ channels. Very well done!

Great video...explained everything short & simple without a lot of excess talking. Pork knuckles, ham hocks, pig tails...all are excellent smoked, roasted or fried....yummy. Also...bravo on the cabbage sauerkraut

Wow! Pork Hocken!! I remember being stationed in Mainz Finthen Germany in the 80’s first assignment with the Army flying and maintaining CH-47C Model Chinooks. Well there was a big box store at the time call Wertkauf. I was much like a Sam’s and Costco is today.... I think that’s where the Americans got the idea of one stop shopping stores.... well out in entrance area there was a snack bar or IMBISS as it was called then and there you would see lots the fast food of Germans at the time. You could get and wurst red and or white beef or pork... and behind the grill there was a big rotisserie filled with rolling Pork Hocks. The smell was awesome and they tasted delicious..... crispy skin and seasoned meat..... what a treat to a new soldier in Germany.... oh yes and a bier to wash it down too!!

This is Like our own version of pork knuckles in the Philippines called”Crispy pata” but we boil it first to get tinder and u can use that stock as a soup and after that we just take out the pork knuckles out of the soup and let it sit for 5 min then we deep fry it in oil, it comes out really crispy and tender❤️

Pork knuckels are cheap, all other ingredients the same and I'm sure it is delicious. Who doesn't have a 10.000 dollars spining oven/grill (whatever it is called in english) on his/her porch just laying around waiting to make pork knuckles a couple of times/year? And, just in case you don't have one, just sell your car, go to the bank and make a loan, buy one and you're ready to install it in your studio apartment that you are now living in ( because you have to pay the bank loan you made to get that spining oven. and cant afford a decent one bedroom apartment). Easy peasy, especialy when Napoleon company sponsers you with an oven like that!
