Shev is an all time favourite recipe. Generally we buy it from the market. This time why not try to make it at home!! It turns out nice and crispy perfectly like the one that we get in a mithai shop. We are adding a secret ingredient to make to super crispy and remains like that longer. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 2 cup Besan
• 1/2 cup Rice flour
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• 1 tsp Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 1 pinch of Baking soda
• 2 tbsp hot Oil
• Water
• Oil for frying
Method:
• Take besan in a dish and add rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt. Mix everything
well together.
• Add baking soda and mix well.
• Add hot oil and mix well.
• When oil cools down a little, rub it well all over the besan and add a little water at a time to
knead stiff dough.
• Take small portion from the dough and make a roll.
• Transfer the roll into shev mold and close it up.
• Heat up oil in a pan on high heat for about 3-4 minutes.
• Reduce the gas on low to medium heat and roll shave directly into hot oil.
• Fry shev well on low to medium heat from both sides.
• After frying shev for about 3-4 minutes from one side flip the shev over and fry well from
other side too.
• When shev settles down at the bottom of the pan it means the shev is fried well.
• Take it out, drain excess oil and transfer it into a dish.
• Shev is all ready.
