You can use any method to Cast On. But I like the Cast On with the anchor yarn. Kim

yes, much more hard to follow when there's a bunch of stitches underneath.

You didn 't show how you put the yarn on the loom. I have never done this before so need to know from A to Z. Also you are going very fast.

go to Knitting Board website and you'll find all the videos - including how to start etc. This video is just showing how to do this pattern. This is the website - www.knittingboard.com/ click on the tab that says "Learn"

Lovely pattern and easy! Thank you! The video and detailed information on learning how to loom knit are available on the Knitting Board site - as shown above just below the video and before the comments - check it out people and you'll see the beginner videos you are looking for :)

I love your board. I have the Kniffty Knitter Looms, they are bulky looking compared to yours. I really like your knitting tool, did you make it or can I buy it? the ones you buy at Wal Mart have a purple handle, but do not look like they are made as good as your. is it made from wood on the handle? I really like it, looks much easier to use. Belinda

I am very confused I Rap the top first peg then I go to the fourth peg However when I try to do every other peg it just doesn’t work for me I love this pattern I even tried reading your transcript I was wondering can you just say which pegs to wrap for instance 1 to 4 then every other peg is it 3 to 6 then 5 to 8 then 7 to 10 etc Because when I do this it doesn’t work out Sometimes I get two loops next to each other If you can just say which peg to wrap It would be great Thank you for your time

I guess the pattern is quite yarn consuming? It's gorgeous!

Hi, I bought the knitting board about three month ago and I love it. However, I am having a problem; when I knit I get a side that is tight and the other side is is loose. Do you know what I am doing wrong. I am just knitting a scarf.

Yes that is the 10" Knitting Board.

I am finding this stitch extremely hard to fix. I accidentally stitched two rows in the same pattern rather than alternating and I can't seem to get it back on track. Any tips? I hate to undo ALL my work.

Sorry on this pattern for the crisscross stitch do you start out with figure eights first

If your loops on one end r tight and the other end loose then you should try yearning over on the very last stick you made, then every stich you yarn over wiill be the same tightness
@TraciaKurosawa13 жыл бұрын
@LEM882109 you can ask a carpenter to make one for you, it's just a rectangle with a hole in the middle and medium nails 1 centimeter apart (or closer). A 10 inch board is alright.

I also tried this about 16 times, with it coming out incorrect every time. I think the pattern might be a wee bit wrong. I easily followed the pattern drawn out by the post below from Cheryl Bammel. Check it out.

Is anyone else having a problem with this pattern? I know how to knit and crochet and I in fact, have the long knitting board. I have tried this pattern several times and it is just not working...you mean no one else has done a video on this stitch with a little more detail?

I am having a big problem on the end opposite to my starting end. The loops on the end are very loose when I go to turn around and get all the pegs I left out... Any tips or anything different I should be doing at the end there?

Why do you go to the center, then go to the other end, on each side? Why is this loom (and my 28" one) not shown on the KB website?

The cast on is different from the stitch. The cast on can be with anchor yarn, or figure 8. After cast on, begin stitch pattern.

I thought the Criss Cross pdf from KB was bad, this is even worse. I was able to find the stitch charted out (withglitteringeyes.blogspot.com/2012/01/criss-cross-alpaca-scarf.html) and it really helped. The chart is under the third picture, just click on it and then you can print it out. Note about the chart: do NOT turn your board. I have made two beautiful scarves with this pattern. If anyone needs any help, let me know.
