People always say "There was nothing like him again". I myself have watched a lot of clips of his prime Man.Utd days but after watching this video and some more from this channel I think He was even better than what I knew until now. This prime looks like once in a lifetime of a player in football. Reason why fans say his prime was at Utd even though he delivered masterclass at Madrid.

I was a kid when Ronaldo and Messi started their careers. And i loved them both through their careers, but CR7 will always have a special place in my heart. Messi has always had the edge on him if we are talking about pure and raw football talent and this is the reason why if i have to choose between them i'll always pick Cristiano. He had to put hard work to reach, and for long periods overcome, Messi talent. First at arrive, last to leave. Never left a pitch without putting max effort. And a true leader, never seen him give up before the end of a match. And i don't know why but the rush of adrenaline that this guy give me during games and the way he gives me hope even in difficult games is something else. Messi never did this for me. And i'm not saying because he is not beterr than CR7 or bla bla bla, simply i always found Cristiano more exciting to watch and follow. I guess it's subjective. For these reasons if my life is on the line in a footbal game, i'll always choose Cristiano.,CR7 LOVE!-

its not subjective, many professionals who played against both respected Ronaldo, but feared Messi. That is the difference. And this age old argument that Messi is 'talented' and therefore never had to work hard is one of the most illogical arguments in sports. It is stupid to say Messi never had to work hard, or that he only had to rely on talent to be where he was. Messi was not a good free kick taker, or passer when he started playing. He evolved as a player thru hard work, not by talent alone. To quote Roger Federer, 'Some people are born with talent, but everyone has to work on them'. And there is no subjective,when it comes to who is more exciting to watch. You must have never watched a game of La Liga when both Messi and CR7 were at their prime. Both were great goal scorers, but Messi could pull off 10 dribbles and made 5 crazy passes whilst matching CR7 goal tally. There was simply no comparison. Messi made magic, CR7 only made stats.

CR7 can do everything, including headers which is messi's weakness, and playmaking which is messi's biggest strength. Just so you know, in 2008, cr7 was ahead of messi in playmaking award. Also, come back to me when messi played in epl with an epl team and dominates. Being good with prime barca is really not hard, cr7 had 450 goals in 438 matches with madrid who were weaker than barca till 2016 or 2017 at least. Messi needs amazing players to perform, cr7 does NOT. CR7 is simply the greatest of all time.

This was cristiano ronaldo before 2014 but mostly during his man utd era. Now, it is the age and his injury and what not, but he has mastered being a striker. He can score with his head and both feet and is always prowling in the box. He is playing like haaland although yes, he is in saudi league and he isn’t as strong as he used to be. In conclusion, Cristiano Ronaldo is the most complete player because now he can score from all sorts of range with any leg and with his head and he also does good passes at points. His speed may not be there anymore but he still got good stamina. In his early years he had everything a player could have and did very well in games. (Sorry for the essay)
