This is one of my favorite seasons of Ronaldo (CR7). This season seems to go very unnoticed among his fans. This was his peak. He could dribble fluidly, score goal after goal, week after week, pass and create chances, run very fast, head the ball, and he was excellent with free kicks and penalties. This is the version of Ronaldo I want to replicate whenever I have a game

ronaldo was really entertaning to watch in the season 2010/11 and 2011/12. These two seasons, we saw the most complete versions of CR7 along with the 2008 season in Manchester United. In 2013, he had already started to lean more towards becoming a goalscorer rather than wide winger. In 2015, he fully made the transition to a wide striker focusing more on scoring goals.

Ronaldo had that from 2008 - 2014. When he got injured he changed his style to a Striker / winger but more of a striker. He was still great just not his peak which is crazy to say because he was still insane

Ronaldo was a deadly dribbler if you gave him space and especially on the counter he would put you to death. But, against tough opposition who can defend, have pace and great body balance. CR7 would find it difference. Look at CR7 vs Ashley Cole, Dani Alves (especially when Barcelona played defensively), Juanfran from Atletico Madrid or Pcyszcek from Dortmund. You will understand the rest. Messi can dribble in all kind of match conditions. While CR7' s dribbling was limitied to some specific type of match conditions. Both are great in their own way. But, CR7 can not match the likes of Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo Nazario, Geoge Best, Ronaldinho, Roberto Baggio, Neymar and prime Hazard.
