Bro he’s done alot. For most of his career he wasn’t playing at international level with a team (for almost all of his career), that could contend at WCS or was better than France, GERMANY, Brazil Spain even Italy historically, Argentina, Uruguay chile. Even with their best iteration of the team when older now Portugal always get psyched out by the top dog teams even teams like Morocco that usually beat them historically over again, as they have those scars but no winning or successful WC history to garner confidence from Ronaldo won their first two trophies EVER with them while not being the best. Even when ranked higher they were miles off the better teams and ppl forget their inconsistency vs skills ranking them higher. They have no consistent scorer like Ronaldo and without someone like that they would share goals yes but I’ve seen them time and time again not be able to score diddly squat vs team they get psyched out mentally against or even teams they SHOULD beat even without Ronaldo lmao. They r a tiny nation with skill but have a ways to go. It is Ronaldo’s influence playing huge part that got them much better and inspired so many kids to try and emulate and get to where they’re at now. He got to play with figo team for 3 years 2003-06 that’s it waaaay before his prime when he started his career. Just because Ronaldo is scoring, the league is bad. So typical of burnt butt haters. Anyone who has watched even a single Saudi league game knows that the league is easily top 10. The level of talent is insane there. Every player is immensely skillful and sharp. In terms of talent, only 2 or 3 leagues are better. Other leagues like la liga and bundesliga is less about talent and more about system play which makes it boring. Saudi league is certainly fun to watch
