Lets be honest here only kids or adults who started watching football since 2018 will say CR7 is only tap-in and penalty merchant but us lads or other people who started watching him since 2010 or above will know how breathtaking, elegant and beautiful his playstyle was.. not saying he was the best dribbler but it was something special about his body movements, passing pacing and dribbling style and stances that made him outstand others....back when nokia keypad was the trend i used to download his driblling videos in 240p (highest quality possible) in my phone and used to imitate and learned his skills damn those days what memories 😢

Being that tall and agile is incredible. His step overs are mesmerizing. Swifting thru the field like a paper plane in the wind. Ronaldo had it all. Machine in the air, long shots, clutch, finishing, dribbling ability before his injury, and even made great assists on the way. Perfected penalty kicks and in his day was one of the greatest free kick takers. Sad to see him cry the other night after missing a penalty vs Slovenia. He’s so great he forgets he’s human too. Father Time is undefeated. What a great pleasure it was to live through his prime. Both him and Messi. Imagine the next time two players will be at the top of their game, in the same league, at the same time. We were spoiled as football fans and we can see it with how the game is being played today. These kind of plays aren’t happening anymore, no more free kicks in the euros, rarely counterattacks, games just awful to watch. Respect to this legend for showing what real football is supposed to look like. What I really love most is his determination and passion. I was a kid when Ronaldo and Messi started their careers. And i loved them both through their careers, but CR7 will always have a special place in my heart. Messi has always had the edge on him if we are talking about pure and raw football talent and this is the reason why if i have to choose between them i'll always pick Cristiano. He had to put hard work to reach, and for long periods overcome, Messi talent. First at arrive, last to leave. Never left a pitch without putting max effort. And a true leader, never seen him give up before the end of a match. And i don't know why but the rush of adrenaline that this guy give me during games and the way he gives me hope even in difficult games is something else. Messi never did this for me.
