I'm glad people have started to do the research for themselves and it's now become somewhat of a talking point. I just 🤦‍♂️ whenever I read "where's Ronaldo's WC" comments...😂 Portugal had literally no history before Ronaldo... in fact, the first final they ever reached (Euro 04), it was a then fresh on the scene Ronaldo who led the team in g/a. International football is really just all about the luck of the draw. A player is stuck with what they're stuck with. Ibrahimovic with Sweden, Haaland with Norway... Portugal with Ronaldo.
