At the time we didn't know we were seeing Kiss in it's unmasked prime. Pauls vocals at their prime, Eric Carr proving to be one of the best drummers for Kiss and a band writing some of it's best songs once the makeup was stripped away. Kiss had a energy through this period which never returned. The two prime times to see Kiss was 1977, and 1988.

Eric was so much better then peter criss as a kiss fan from 75 on I wish I had the opportunity to tell him Paul said Eric was insecure about not being the original drummer
