My two favourite Kiss members - Eric Carr & Ace Frehley. This was in the city I grew up in but at 9yo was not allowed to go to. RIP The Fox. Missed greatly every day. I wish he got to sing more. The Rock Heads (solo album) was fantastic. Thanks for sharing this video.

This’ll always me my favorite lineup here. Y’all say what you want about Peter Criss, but everything was just perfect about the Eric Carr lineup. His voice is so amazing, his hair is intense lined up with his make-up, it just works. Even with the make-up and fast tempo, you can tell he’s out to steal the show. Similar story with Ace. His make-up is so badass & his guitar playing especially in this recording with him on knees is just so cool looking. And put next to the Starchild jumping around & Gene’s badass demon, I wish this lineup could’ve lasted a longer while. Too bad Ace left shortly after Eric, & even more unfortunate that Eric is no longer with us. R.I.P Fox... 🦊

His voice sounds like a more growl-like version of someone like Howard Jones. He had the bass of Howard Jones, the raspiness of Peter Criss, and the somewhat operatic power of the likes of Paul Stanley, and similar to Gene when he yells. Not just a good drummer. Not just a good vocalist. But probably the best Drummer that Kiss has ever had.
