Few know that the DB Mark III was the model described by Jan Fleming in his James Bond novel "Goldfinger" while when the movie was produced the model in production was the DB5, which became famous for being James Bond's car but originally in the novel it was precisely this model which already had special modifications for the secret agent which were further implemented in the film with the DB5.
