Sofia is my favorite character but she really don't know what she's asking for 😂 Robert Pattinson's Batman is extremely comic accurate especially when it comes to the worlds greatest detective aspect. Even as an inexperienced year 2 Batman if he were to drop into the show right now he could probably clean out the shows entire villain gallery in one night

I feel like she means like goons fight him, like Batman had a difficult time getting the riddler, and to be fair the riddler wanted to be caught. Also she could possibly have help from the gotham police force to, and she has money (well now she does). @@StaminaMC I mean you have representation for just about everyone on screen in leading roles including those with disabilities and the show's run, directed, and written by women, which is really rare. Somehow in this and the Batman movie, they managed to build a world that feels organically diverse. What I mean by that is Jeffrey Wright wasn't cast as Jim Gordon to push any kind of agenda the way Disney does. He's simply clearly the best actor for the role. It isn't forced. Same with Selina Kyle, Victor, and so many of these characters. They just focused on hiring phenomenal actors and ended up with an organically diverse group which is really cool

And had 2 trans actors who Oz called Pretty ladies, in the very first episode. Sofia Falcone/Gigante is not a girl boss she’s a boss that’s a girl. She is one of the very FEW that’s been written very well. Great origin story with flaws and set backs. And because of that I’m rooting for her and was proud of her when she was walking to the table with her mom’s fur coat. Showed some sincerity with the men she’s about to lead.

I mean there are women in the show, but not at the expense of the men as a lot of shows have done recently. And hey, at least Penguin is still a dude in this one. Culture war stuff aside, the show is written and acted very well. There might be some political agendas sprinkled throughout (I'm not aware of them, but I'm sure if you're actively looking for them, they might be there). If they are there, it's subtle and written into the story in a way that isn't annoying and preachy like other projects. It's a character-driven story, so whatever moral judgments you make are up to your assessments of the characters' choices and actions - the show doesn't grandstand and force you to side with a certain worldview. It's actually an awesome show. And honestly, it's a show where the main character is a villain. There aren't any heroes here - everyone is evil.

It’s a great show and it’s making me want The Batman 2 as soon as possible. I think all this attention to Sofia is going to lead some folks to disappointment though. They’re not taking into account that this is Penguins story. His rise to power. Not hers. She is only Penguins villain. Colin Farrell has already said when it’s over we’re not going to like Penguin. The only logical outcome I see for Sofia is to be killed or to wind up back in Arkham. Vic is who I worry about.
