Ive been looking for this song for a good minute and this specifiic singer (Christi Lanes) i am so excited that i have found it because this song brings back so many childhood memories of my mother (Esther). Every morning after my mom was done praying she would turn on her radio and play this whole cassette as she started her day and every night as she tucked me in bed she would sing to me and sometimes she would sing the footprints in the sand to my brother sister and I❤❤❤❤❤🎶

Cristy, Thank you for keeping this video active. A llittle over 30 years ago, I bought a stereo system and couldn't wait to utilize it. I recall going to a record store, and I was shocked to find your album with this song on it. I treasured the poem from many years before that but had no knowledge of the song. That was one of the first songs I played on my stereo system. I still recall the "tears of joy" as I heard you singing it. It's still one of my most treasured songs of all time.
