However, Tony's argument is that the two families share Zellman only for the "esplanade project" that is mentioned throughout the season.

I've worked as an extra on some tv shows. One day, myself and another guy had to carry a (fake) dead young deer tied to a stick by it's feet, hanging upside down, like is was food to be roasted on a fire for a feast. The props guy told me the deer was over 30 years old and had been in more tv shows and movies than any actor working on the show we were on. I wasn't too creeped out by it, I was actually glad having something light to carry for a scene that was shot almost 30 times. I'll tell you who was freaked out by my upside down dead deer, all the other live animals on the set, one look at that thing and they ran off. Similarly on the same show, we had dead fake horses all over the place after any battle scenes. The live horses were always really freaked out by them, they never got used to it as far as I could tell.

“We’re you there when Jesus Christ had his moment of doubt & pain?” .... from Sympathy for the Devil (Rolling Stones). Father Phil knows Ralphie is the Devil is what that insinuates. Pic of Tracee at the very end was to show she was ultimately why Tony killed Ralphie. It wasn’t really the horse. Btw... Chris left the Bing before Tony because he was scared Tony will kill him for knowing how Ralph died.
@normie27165 ай бұрын
It's not Father Phil insinuating that Ralph is the Devil. There are several instances of _Sympathy for the Devil_ lyrics in the episode. Ralph says to his son's doctor "Please allow me to introduce myself", "Pleased to meet you" to Father Phil, etc. It's just the writers incorporating the lyrics into the episode as a nod to Ralph being a demonic or devilish presence on the show and that we may or may not be feeling sorry for him here.
@gregsgoogle29475 ай бұрын
@@normie2716 A priest quoting Stones lyrics as if he was quoting from the Bible is symbolically linking Ralph as the Devil. Otherwise it wouldn’t make any sense for a priest to be so wildly inaccurate by quoting rock lyrics for spiritual advice. Ralph never caught on he wasn’t quoting from the Bible. Only we the audience caught it because that’s who the line & symbolic meaning was for. The writers even altered the lyrics from a statement (“I was there when Jesus Christ...”) to a question (“Where you there when Jesus Christ...???”). Hence he’s symbolically asking Ralph if he’s the Devil. And because the entire episode Ralph was pulling hard on our heart strings for our sympathy, we were tempted to have or maybe had sympathy for the Devil... which is exactly what the song describes as our primal fault... feeling sympathy for the Devil that ultimately just wants to kill you.
