Crit Buffs Make Kindred A Scaling Monster! (why are Steelcaps So OP?!)

Playing Kindred a bit now. How did you know mark would spawn on scuttles instead of gromp or birds instead? I thought it would always spawn on what was alive

marks spawn in tiers 0 scuttle only 1-3 scuttle, chickens, gromp 4-7 buffs, krugs, wolves 8+ epic monsters so if you know where the enemy is clearing/what tiers your in you can slowly eliminate what can be marked, and predict where you should be for the most likely marks
