Hi, you won't need a start-up cable to use the AtomX with a Cheyenne Thunder as the AtomX comes with a jump start function.

Hi bro, thanks for the video. I want to buy the critical MNML or the Atom. But I do not know if it changes its power in Amps, frequency, voltage or it is simply the change to a digital use in the atom. I can't find MNML specifications, could you get me out of this question? Thanks

Hi Daniel, when using the Atom or the MNML, you can adjust the voltage via the dials.

So If I have a Cheyenne thunder i have tu put it on enable, i need pedal for this step or with the button of the middle? It's more safe the cx1 for Cheyenne?

Hey, a pedal is not required for all Critical power supplies except for the MNML. Both the Atom/Atom X and CX-1 are all safe for a Cheyenne Thunder and it is a Thunder used in the video. A pedal was used in video, so the machine was not obstructed to show the jumpstart being used 😊

Hello! I run into a problem. Each time when i want to start maintenance mode i have to click a button on my atom x whereas my colleague kicks it off by pressing on the pedal which is really handy. What am i doing wrong here? We both have the same fk irons delta footswith.

Hey, you will need to press and hold the pedal button until you see "egl", which will keep it in maintained mode. From there, you can just press your Delta pedal once to switch it on and once for off. If you just press the pedal button once and don't hold, your attached pedal will override this and revert back to the normal mode. Hope that helps!

@@KillerInkTattooEU Hi.. I guess I should’ve been clearer. My question was regarding the Atom X. Now, what you’ve shown in the video at the 1:55 mark is that once both of the voltage adjustment buttons are depressed it toggles between ‘En’ and ‘dlS’. I was asking what the functions are once the power button in the center of the power supply is depressed and held down, as it gives two different sets of letters.

@@paulpeddie8403 Hi Paul, that will be the pedal option. NOR = "Normal" - press and down to run like a normal pedal. EGL = press on once to run and off once to switch it off (like a latched pedal). Hope that helps!

Hi Joseph, for the boost mode, it should be used throughout the session if using a Thunder. This ensures that the cartridge used, regardless of how tough the membrane is, is kickstarted every time.

Killer Ink Tattoo thanx got it another Quik question because I also use coil machines where there be any problem if I leave the enable on for a coil machine ?

If using carts and coils, the cartridge membrane’s toughness can put more tension on the springs, so the machine might not perform as well as it should and may require a machine settings change. Sometimes, a boost might not be necessary, but its available if the machine ‘stalls’. If it’s just for standard needles, there wouldn’t be much of an issue. However, it only takes a couple of seconds to switch off anyway so it’s best keeping boost mode off.
