I believe the Neuma 4 is truly one of the best rotaries out there. Especially when it comes to lining. With it's short duration in the skin it has less trauma to the skin and heals well. I believe a lot of people aren't doing it justice because of not enough time spent or experimenting with its different cams and stroke profiles. I have the bishop packer 4.2 and bishop wand shader 3.5. I love them both. I also have the stigma force 3.7 and flux max 4.5. All great machines but I always come back to the neuma. I recently purchased the Neuma 4 MACRO. It is a beast of a machine with 50 percent more power and torque from the motor. It feels a lot smoother for some reason. Carson Hill did an amazing job with this technology in his product.

The 28% cam is where it's at. It makes all the difference when compared to the original 20% cam. The inkjecta is slow and is a great “first color blending“ machine. It’s soft and delicate for layering but what you soon find is that it’s a little too soft. It’s for artists who don’t mind taking 10 to 12 hours on a hand sized realism tattoo. It’s great for people who don’t have a sense of needle control because it is almost impossible to overwork skin with it in my experience, but every time I use mine find myself wanting something more efficient about halfway through the tattoo.
@aurimaspovilionis33042 жыл бұрын
Been working with Inkjecta for several years. And yes, if you work with standard 3.25mm stroke which comes with machine, the yeah, the feel is like it lacks some power sometimes. After some time with it I decided to make some researches about strokes and started to play around with them. Sooo.. when you make a step to at least 3.5, game changes quite drastically.. also tried 4mm, which is overkill for what I do. And guess what, you REALLY CAN to damage the skin with it 🙂
@jonathanromo23052 жыл бұрын
@@aurimaspovilionis3304 I had the injecta with the 3.5 stroke and 4.0 stroke as well as the carbon bar. It just always felt underpowered at the tip of the stroke where I like to do all of my black and gray. It definitely lacks in the lining department as well for how I tattoo, but I’m glad it works for you. Everyones technique and method of saturation varies slightly, sadly its just not for me.

My best friend went from coils to one recently and has mained it for every tattoo since. The Bishop liner is great. Just used it all day long for the 13th and really got to know it. As I was looking at the machine I saw to my suprise a machine that says it has a stroke from 1 mm to 7 mm. Looked at it and at first thought yeah. I think I might know what you are going to say. I finally woke up and figured how the stroke is changed. But I did see another that I thought you might like to check out. It's a ; Tampax X5 direct drive, has 5 adjustable stroke. 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5.0 mm. Looked like one you might want to check out. I've been tattooing for a long time and saw the rotary machines when they first came out. You could see the needle going side to side, you could hear the machine bog down. Nothing was straight. I'll keep making my coil machines and that's where I stayed. Saw a comparison clip don't know who did and thought I need to play with one of those. Would like your thoughts on a WTK 148. I know you can find it. I wanted to try one that you don't care for. The Mast it's the first one of the three that you put down, red. No I don't remember all of the names and brands yet. Hi Do you have a discount code for the neuma four
@ThatTattooGuyOfficial2 жыл бұрын
I don’t unfortunately.. some companies are more willing to give them more than others
@ScalpEstetic2 жыл бұрын
Here you go, for 10% discount 👍🏽: neumag1 But I’d get the Neuma 4 Macro, which has 50% more power and torque than the original or the Modus. Also, it comes with the brass bearing, so add on to your order the aluminum bearing, for softer hitting work. Also, get an extra spring (because, you never know).

Hello I have a question I wanna buy a tattoo machine but I don't know which one to choose My budget is 600€ So Axys Valhalla or Ava Ep7+? Or if you have other suggestions please tell me Thank you.
@ThatTattooGuyOfficial10 ай бұрын
It depends on what your style is. If you need a harder hitting machine the 4.2 Ava ep7+ is dope. If you want something more versatile the Valhalla. You could get the vlad blad avenger 2 pro. That’s versatile and better than the Valhalla. Same price point pretty much!
@bitabaygani770410 ай бұрын
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial thank you for answering So in the price of max 600€ ava ep7+ is better than anything else? Don't you have any other suggestions? Yes I need a hard hitting machine.

To tell you the truth all the machines from them are basically the same. By looking at it it seems to be a good black and grey machine. I wouldn’t expect it to last for very long tho. I would truthfully go with something more quality as your first machine if you are serious about learning

I use a Bronc V9 for an all around machine, it’s small but does it all plugged in or w a good strong battery. I have a Neuma 4 which I don’t love I think for the same reason you state, it’s puzzling, and the Valhalla which I like a little more . Expensive is not always better, I’m finding, I can use a budget machine to its fullest potential so, hm. I do not have a bishop due to cannot find when I’m looking…😆

The Neuma 4 is a combination of a good design with poor craftsmanship and substandard parts, which results in performance that does not meet its claims. The needle bounces around on the plastic cam with an underpowered spring, and just a super primitive way to actuate the cartridge. If depressing the needle was somehow locked into the cam profile rather than just bouncing around between weak spring pressure and the lobe on the plastic cam, it would be a phenomenal method for tattooing. Unfortunately, with the current setup, it is a great concept poorly executed. This is why it feels sloppy, is noisy, and has loads of vibration. Perhaps the Neuma 5 will address these shortcomings.
@ThatTattooGuyOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Agreed. They just came out with a new version of the 4 actually. Not interested in it. I’ll give it another look in a couple years. Hopefully they make improvements
