Loving these kingdom heart streams. Very fun to see how much Tenma's gameplay has evolved from just a few days ago.

2:16:33 this part almost choked me up watching through this VOD. For context, it’s a line similar to a line from Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search For Christopher Robin. And in that movie is a song called Wherever You Are, which Pooh sings during their quest to find Christopher Robin. And the last time I watched the movie for nostalgia in 2016, that scene made me cry like a baby. Because earlier that year, my little brother died. Besides the ending credits, that last page segment of Pooh’s book is another part of this game that will pluck at my heartstrings for that connection

I'm genuinely pretty proud of Tenma for succeeding the Sephiroth vibe check! Sephiroth's intro is a blatant noob trap, and she reacted perfectly, even going into a combo. She had the right instinct from the get-go! It's been so fun to watch Tenma's brain puzzle solve these bosses, and think of new strategies I didn't even think of before!! Much love Tenma ❤❤❤

You know, as someone who did actually play through the Critical mode on Level 1: Tenma's persistence is quite impressive and commendable. And about whether it was a good idea to start with Critical or not: I get it can get it gets frustrating at times. Yet I can say, with experience, that the lower difficulties are pretty much smashing X to win. Proud (second highest difficulty) was as high as it went on the original PS2 release. And it got boring real fast because nothing posed a challenge, and I had no reason to actually learn to play as a consequence. I had to ship in a Japan-only copy of the Final Mix from Japan so I could play it on my hacked PS2, and it was so much fun. ...Despite me not knowing a word of Japanese, so navigating the menus was certainly an experience. :b Point being: as long as one gets any kicks out of overcoming challenges, Critical mode is pretty much the optimal way to experience this game. And I genuinely appreciate seeing someone go for it.

You kicked that smug bastards ass, and in the same stream came close to victory against Sephiroth 44 levels underleveled. No doubt you're gonna beat him next stream Mi-chan. I know you can do it.

I remember fighting Sephiroth in KH1 The GUI could only show a given number of health bars, and he was one of the first fights I encountered where he had more HP than the game could show. I just assumed I was doing zero damage to him. I came back on my second playthrough. Max level, and with end game gear. In contrast to that experience, KH2 Sephiroth always felt easier. That said, KH2 Sephiroth has some pretty tricky moves. It's a really cool fight.

Critical, but the joke goes as you said above
@ZX-Gear26 күн бұрын
Critical is no joke. It does force you to know the game and git gud. Most of the bosses are memorizing patterns and knowing attack windows.

Honestly from what I've seen you do very well but get unlucky, I think you're a bit to hard on yourself cus it genuinely looked like you were doing really well at the end.
