Let’s see… I have Venus in Cap at 13° in the 12th; my moon in Virgo at 17° in the 8th; and Jupiter in Sag at 17° in the 11th. (Also Uranus in Libra at 17° in the 9th.) Very interesting!

You are correct if you applying “degree theory.” Degree theory can help break down meaning of a particular placement regarding that degree and what sign it represents. This episode is dedicated to “critical degrees” which theoretically hold more weight/importance and can indicate power and influence if transformed. For example, say Venus at 17 degrees of a mutable sign is a mutable critical degree indicating an added level of importance in the individuals life regarding that area of their chart or planet. You could take it a step further and apply degree theory with 17 degrees being a Leo degree and how this importance could express itself through Leo/Sun or creative expression regarding this planet.

How interesting, I have a libra rising at 26 degrees, leo sun at 21 and pluto in scorpio at 22...also my midheaven is at 29 degrees of cancer...don't really think I'll be famous...but my life and circumstances have always felt intense...however what stood out to me, was that you mentioned the 17 degress of gemini and I knew a 4 degree pisces sun, that had his ascendant at 17 degrees gemini and he actually was famous through is charity work, (but he also had his nn in leo in the third, and he got a lot of media attention, several articles published and appeared in tv etc however he did not stay "famous"

Ok, so you start off defining your schtick really poorly. What is it? Is it a planet must be at x degree 0 minutes 0 seconds? Ist is if a planet is in x degree it can be anywhere in that degree? For instance 0 degree 10 minutes and 40 seconds? So you dont define your angles well. And the rest is kinda useless.

A planet at 0 degrees 10 minutes and 40 seconds versus a planet at 0 degrees 0 minutes 0 seconds is still at 0 degrees. Critical degrees don’t take into account minutes/seconds-just the degree itself. If you want to break down a degree with minutes and seconds you can refer to decans, dwads etc. for further sign based analysis but that’s an entirely different technique you can layer on top of other techniques.
