Caleb‘s expression during the cast just screams „so f***ing done with you, burn in hell.“ Also, this proves how devastating some spells can be in ship to ship combat. Fireball‘s aoe can cover a good part of a ship‘s deck, kill whoever is on it and set the Wood on Fire.

Having beau there was a excilent touch. it helped set the tone to how serious her mission was to get to the plank king. Nott staring at caleb and not the fire was well suited for their dynamic. Great job!

One of the things I really like about this is the way you layered actions from the guards, Caduceus, and archers on the Squall Eater into the time it took Caleb's Fireball to actually travel and hit, reflecting how much is actually happening simultaneously in a round of D&D and the chaos that the mechanics of the game tend to separate out for us. Made for great flow!
