Vex has died 5 times. Meaning that say in the future if she dies a 6th time, Pike when casting revivify would have to roll a 15.

Man if they go with that plan of letting the gods get destroy it's going to be the same for Vex soul considering he has her powers inside of him. My biggest fear is once they release it the domains were all the souls are is it going to get devoured too. This is going to backfire on them so hard if they go down that route. 😅

More than that, if Matt is going by the standard rules in DnD, Vax is now made OF her powers as he was made into a Celestial when he left at the end of campaign 1 (an Angel in the DnD Monster Manual) and is no longer even the dead half-elf he once was.

@willow8783 I completely agree. Also the thing eats godly energy. Going by the Lord he already established that's radiant and necrotic energy but that's what we're assuming is God the energy It could be just magic itself. Even level 20 characters with magic in the world might be targeted for food. All creatures with demonic or celestial blood are also possible to get targeted.

Campaign 3 has always been about cutting WOTC out of Matt’s world, only instead of just saying “we are switching to daggerheart and therefore the gods are changing” Matt feels the need to force the issue. The cast understand, they have also been in the meetings with IP lawyers, but also, the first book to follow the rule book in the spring will be the daggerheart guide to exandria, which must not have the WOTC gods.

If Keylith wants to be with Vax so bad I don't know why she doesn't just offer herself to the Raven Queen, die, then go serve alongside Vax for all eternity. It's like their all forgetting that without the gods clerics don't have any powers and Pike would not have become an adventure or stayed dead along with Grog, Vex, Percy, Cassandra, Scanlan, Kaylie, and Vax himself has already been returned to life by the Raven Queen after he died fighting Vecna.

Vax isn't really the same when he's working for the matron. Keyleth also has a lot of responsibilities. Something like that might happen when she dies (but that will be in a really really long time, like a 1000 years) The thing that I never quite got is why she just didn't go find him. She can travel the planes and has talked to the gods so she could probably track down vax too. It would have probably just been more sadness.

(Spoilers for c1 in this rant) Right if the god eater was let out he would just be absolutley cool with the champion of the matron of ravens and just let him on his way to have his happy ending. Does everyone really think vax wouldn't fight till his last breath to defend the matron I'm not sure he has much choice but to defend her anyway, plus isn't she the only reason he is still alive? Because he got dusted by vecna and is now a revanant? Wouldn't he yet again be dust after she was gone? It just seems like they are trying to push even more of a wedge between the gods and the characters so they can get away from the wotc pantheon with reckless abandon there is literally no other reason to kill the gods other than their own personal goals. We saw in downfall that even though they are flawed they aren't evil by any means, bells hells is just being selfish in their desires to kill the pantheon while vox machina (keyleth) does have a slightly good reason but even then it is in of itself selfish and completely undermines the tragedy of vax's character arc. I don't mean to be overly negative but god damn is it annoying 😂

There is no real telling what happens to Vax if the Matron dies, but I think their opinion is that he definitely won't come back to them while he is tied to her as a champion, and they have literally seen another party with a revenant type character not tied to any god in a happy relationship with Bell's Hells

I completely agree! PS. As a small note, he was only a revenant for a brief period of time before the end of C1. He es now a celestial, more like an angel

@@Micaerys Right I forgot about that, but if he is a celestial, i.e. a child of the gods, wouldn't that also make him a target of predathos? (I honestly don't know how that guy operates😂)

That's what I suggested in one of recent videos on TPBurrow channel about rescuing Vax - they could do something on style of NWN2 Mask of Betrayer campaign and adjust to their vision.

If an entity called the Godeater was in danger of being freed, why would the gods (canonically the same gods as the rest of 5E) not just yeet a burning mountain at Exandria like the Krynn pantheon did to Istar? The Exandrian 5E Pantheon and Krynn 5E pantheon even share three of the same deities lolol (Paladine/Bahamut, Takhisis/Tiamat, Reorx/Moradin).

Ozo has a such broken ability. Infinite attacks until he misses 3 times. Otohan was able to do 11 attacks and that was enough to knock Keyleth in her earth elemental form

@@Bobbytree-rt3nt Corellon (the Arch-heart) said it only wants them (the gods), and Predathos being free would finally cause the gods to stop fighting one another and leave Exandria, He was pretty clear that Predathos doesn't care about mortals or Exandria, just the gods.
