For movement I recommend bringing an extra base for all your large models (one of each size is fine) and place where you want and meassure what you want so you can see if you can move and see/reach/avoid what you need. Very convenient.

Quality of life items Dice tray -> Wood canvas, cheap and readily found at art stores. Paint it black and add some felt. Tool cart or salon tray cart-> helps transport army from table to table. Compression socks/back support strap -> helps with not getting the post tournament soreness Spare tape measure -> I love the ikea ones, at 2$ I buy a dozen at a time, they are thin and fit nicely in your hand.

Great video! This is going to sound like a weird question but I haven’t gone to a tournament yet and am a bit worried about slow players. Could you possibly make a video explaining how clocks work in 40K tournaments and what happens if one player runs out of time or is way slower than the other player? Perhaps explain how the clock can protect you from losing the match as you described and any tips you have to enforcing the clock while keeping the vibes at the table good?

Love your content and it's always insightful. That said, about the baron of dice brand dice.....except in the rarest of situations, mine roll significantly lower than my chessex dice. And when rolling 10 dice 1000 times, my baron of dice rolled only an avarage of 25, when doing the same with my chessex dice it averaged 34.... The chessex also are for sure more random, because they can spike really high, or whiff really hard. Squared v round corners shouldn't make that much difference. Also, out of 1000 rolls, side by side the baron dice only rolled 2 times that were higher, and a total of ten times when looking at the entire 1000....

Having lived all of my 55 years in the American desert southwest, I personally prefer the old fashioned buffered salt pills for rehydration. Doctor's no longer recommend them, but they are very convenient (if you are also drinking plenty of water), and I know a number of people who do construction work that still swear by them instead of any rehydration drink.

People need to stop using useless dice with weird stuff on them. Clean high contrast easily readable dice with large pips is the way to go. Everything else is just upmarked garbage you should not waste money on. Especially as you'll need like 40-50 and preferably 2-3 colours in case you roll many things at the same time for speed. All random dice with weird marks on them or that are multicoloured or poor contrast should just be thrown away. I hate streams with a dice tray with rainbow colours+logo and logo dice/multicoloured dice so you can barely see anything.

I will agree to a certain degree. Have a mate who uses these horrible space wolves dice that are grey white white claw marks. Incredibly hard to see how many claw marks are on each face, made worse by the barely contrasting colours. That being said, high contrast dice with just one special side don't bother me obviously so long as the special side is always a 1 or a 6 - no mixing of that between different sets.

Hydration salts is not required. Almost every single human being is fine with just water. In VERY hot climate with a lot of sweating you need a little of those salt and minerals back as you use excessive ammounts while sporting all day. Warhammer is often indoors and often slightly more relaxed as opposed to a sports tournament. It is not required with some branded hydration powder. Any sportsdrink or cheap rehydration powder or sober-up-post-alco-tablet usually is the same. Please dont buy some expensive hydration powder from some snakeoil firm that just upcharges cheap chinese sportsdrink powders. But for 90% of cases just water is enough, unless you know you sweat a lot.
