Maybe I just missed it, but you don't actually have to play the traps right? You can just discard them at the end of your turn? Also, I noticed in the rulebook that it says you can only refresh the vault and bizzare once per turn. This is a change from base game. Since this is an expansion should that rule be applied retroactivly? Or was that always how it was intended to be?

You missed it, they couldn't banish because of one of Laura's card which Aabria only banished from the armory in the very end right before she used her ultimate, before that nobody could banish a trap.
