I love that in their heads, even after the show started, they saw it as a platonic friendship... Meanwhile from the outside it looked waaaay more close and intimate than just close friends. (Granted, my perception of these things may be skewed because I have read content, both books and mangas, where the authors admitted later in interviews that they had to temper an obvious same-sex relationship with a "... But y'know... Them besties. Sharing a bed, blushing while hugging and getting the hots because they saw the other bare-chested, but besties!" because the editor was noooot about to let that happen.)

I kind of feel like it can actually be like that for her, maybe? In the wrap-up episode of Campaign 2 I remember she was questioning Marisha and Ashley about the details of Beau and Yasha's falling for one another almost like the characters had their own completely separate feelings and thoughts, she'd ask like "so that day did you realise that it was love what you were feeling for her?"... I remember being puzzled about it.

I do wish she'd gone about the betrayal in a less obvious way, but after Travis offered to help her, I think any of the other players that had missed it would have twigged. As we found with Utkarsh, the surprise to the players goes a long way to selling a betrayal of the characters.

Just some old grandparent rogue who has spent their entire life stealing magic items and spellbooks when the wizards occasionally touch down on the face of Exandria, to learn even the smallest bit of magic.

Also, maybe there would be some reverse classism against any sorcerers born on the ground, like people might shun them out of jealousy. Or maybe even that the Magocracy would come and take children who show magical talent. Either way, lots of cool ideas that could be explored.

I really appreciate Matt's comment about how we need to be very careful on how we change the narrative on the fly. Sometimes it can be amazing, but it could also ruin the other person's expectation and plans of their character arc. And they've been doing this for years, so they trust each other to make the right decisions that both people would agree with.
