Red velvet is a 5 member girl group from SM ent. debuted in August 1st with 4 member and the 5th one join them in Ice cream era (March 2015), their fandom name is REVELUV but they call us LUVIES. To be very honest when it comes to vocals I would say that Mamamoo and Red Velvet are on the top list of 3rd generation of kpop girl groups. And Wendy is best vocalist in kpop, you should watch& listen to her pre debut, her range vocals, run and riff, she's great.

Red Velvet have one of the best vocal lines in Kpop! Wendy is the BEST female vocalist of this generation. Her range is the widest in Kpop (4 octaves). And Seulgi is main dancer and lead vocalist who could be a main vocalist in any other group. Top 3 Girl Groups in KPOP are Blackpink(YG),Twice(JYP)and Red Velvet(SM) The fact is that internationally Red Velvet not as popular as 2 other girl groups from Big3 because their music is sometimes hard to catch up and SM tends to change concepts every comeback. But I'm sure that Red Velvet is the most respected girl group in Korea when considering both in music side and their personality. No one can deny their talents as well as their efforts. If you react to more Red Velvet, don't be surprised if you find yourself saying "Is this the same group?!?" Every comeback is completely different. What I really appreciate about both of you is that you don't just react and point out the vocals (which is important), but you also delve into the lyrics and understand the meaning of the song. This song is truly is a masterpiece and by far the best release of 2019 and my personal favourite of KPOP songs. (Wendy is my bias). If you want to see more of Wendy's vocals, I truly recommend you to listen to Light Me Up (Wendy Solo Ver). Her vocals is AMAZING.

As other people said in the comments, RV and BP are close friends! Jennie and Irene are besties. Which makes sense cuz they are similar in personalities and the whole “chic image”. Yep RV is very versatile and not afraid to experiment with their sound and concepts. They have a lot of very interesting songs, but they always bring THE VOCALS as well as THE CHARISMA. Even if it’s a song that is a miss for some casual kpop fans.. you can still appreciate the girls for the vocals. Also, Red Velvet has 2 concepts ever since debut era. They have the RED and the VELVET. RED side: upbeat, quirky, and experimental music and concept. VELVET: a more feminine with a touch of sexy or grown woman vibes. Velvet is more r&b/hip hop influenced or ballad kind of music. Then there are times when they merge RED and VELVET together on their title tracks. For example, there are some people (including myself) that feel like “PSYCHO” is a mix of RED and VELVET both musically and concept wise. Tbh.. Red Velvet always change things up every comeback.. so sometimes you don’t know if they’ll have RED, VELVET, or both. LOL! Unless if they come back in the summer.. we know they’ll most likely have a RED concept for summer. Other than that.. it can go either way. But that’s what makes Red Velvet exciting and seriously.. their VOCALS.. especially live stages or acoustic performances are 🔥🔥🔥🔥 “Monster” is a great song, but it’s not the whole group though.. it’s the first ever RV sub-unit debut of Irene and Seulgi. However, I suggest you react to ROT5 aka the group first! I have a feeling you will love “Bad Boy”.. which is their VELVET concept. Then when you’re done with reacting to all of RV MVs, the. You can check out sub-units as well as solo songs/OSTS/collaborations w/other artists. YEP!!! There’s A LOT of Red Velvet content LOL!! Red Velvet is also known as the QUEENS OF B-SIDES!! Seriously there’s so many gems in their discography!! Oh and YES.. those Wendy and Seulgi vocals me adlibs!! You’ll be hearing A LOT of that when you dig more into Red Velvet. Those two might be your bias and bias wrecker the way you’ve been reacting to their vocals LOL! But honestly Joy, Irene, and Yeri have lovely and solid vocals too! So you might get wrecked later on.. Thank you for your Red Velvet reaction! IMO they have the most solid vocals of ANY KPOP group and nobody can touch their harmonies. All the members have solid vocals and RV’s vocal line is the strongest in KPOP. Also, RV can and have done almost every genre of music, so they’re VERY versatile. If Blackpink has the best hip hop sound in KPOP, then Red Velvet has the best R&B sound in KPOP. Also, both groups are friends and if Blackpink and Red Velvet ever teamed up they would take over KPOP, the world can’t handle that much talent in one group! #BLACKVELVET Please do more Red Velvet reactions, you won’t be disappointed!
