One of the best. I look forward to seeing this film added as a Criterion Collection hopefully in the near future. It’s definitely deserving.

Haven't seen this movie but I want to. Just bcuz I'm in love with Paul Le Mat. He's Beautiful. And the only man who ever could make me weak in the knees.

I wonder if he really met Howard Hughes? It’s possible because Hughes was so eccentric. I can see him escaping his confines and wandering around hitching a ride to nowhere just to getaway. I don’t know about the will though. Anyway, he did probably sell the rights for this movie to be made so he made some money from his story.

I think Melvin was a good guy and most likely did meet Howard Hughes.

The film drags a bit when seen from today's perspective but it has some awesome moments. The kissing montage is pretty awesome.
